[Resolved] Barclay Card — BARCLAYS BANK - WORST SERVICES | |
Dear sir, I was in possession of Barclay Card No. [protected] and have paid all the dues in time always but it was in Feb. 2009 that I got a call from Barclays Customer Care Mumbai asking me if I had tried some transaction of payments to Airtel since I had not done/tried any I refused that. And they told me to download Dispute Transaction form from website and send it. And I sent the duly filled Dispute Transaction Form with a letter to Dispute Redressal team at Barclays Mumbai vide courier no.Z84493230 dated[protected] of DTDC Courier. Subsequently I reported the matter to Mr. Prakash on[protected] and he told me not to pay the amount which was to the tune of Rs.3500/- since matter has been lying pending with the dispute transaction resolution team.. Since the day I sent that letter, I have not received any communication from BARCLAYS in which the reference of that letter has been mentioned. And their executives have been calling me every now & then saying to make the payment. I would like to mention here that each and every time I called Barclays I have been told that the dispute will be resolved shortly but nothing has been done so far. I also lodged a complaint vide reference no. 1519169 dated[protected] at 1:40 pm and I was told that we will revert back to you in 2 days but no answer. And today also when I called the customer care at [protected] I have been told a new story that I am having an add-on card also and as per best of my knowledge I have never applied for any. More-over I received one extra card along-with my credit card issued in the name of some Komal Doshi and I reported the matter at BARCLAYS customer care centre then they asked me to send an email of the same and I also sent the same on[protected] from [protected]@live.com and I got a reply from email id vide ref. no. [protected] saying that “ Please be noted your request and the same has been forwarded to the concerned department . We will revert back to you shortly ”And I have not received any call till date for the subject .It was me who tore away that card into pieces and threw it away to prevent any misuse . Barclays customer service/ dispute reddressal department is not having proper interface with thier departments .Each and every time one has to tell the whole story and they keep harassing by calling 20-30 times a day and keep sending SMS every hour .Barclay people don't even bother to revert back to emails and they have the worst customer service systems .
