I am a Resident of Vasant kunj, Sector A pocket C. Just three years back in 2007, Times of India had flashed how a stray dog had attacked two girls who had just ventured out in the evening to take a walk. It appears that situation will repeat itself if nothing is done about the dogs in our area ASAP. They have multiplied in huge numbers just in a three year span.

I know just getting them away from the area is not the solution to the problem but i feel is definitely a start!

Before things get any worse, please see if anything can be done about this.

BBMP stray dogs — Street dogs

There are too many stree dogs in JP nagar 5th phase, Rose garden roads. People cannot sleep properly at night due to the continues barking of the dogs and and they chase every people who come by the road at night.

Kindly do the needful.

The same complaint again. Today, a young lady would have almost got killed when a couple of stray dogs pounced on her. Thanks to the public who shooed away the dogs. This is just the beginning. The dogs keep barking all night and small children don't use the road at all because of the dogs. Kindly look into the matter.

I totally agree with the complains above.In fact I came to this sight looking for adressal of similair complain from my side.Its in ST bed layout, Koramangala 4th block.There are lots of stray dogs which roam around all along the day and specially in the night.Its difficult to peacefully walk through as these dogs bark, scare and chase people. Can anybody take care of this problem.

Dear Sir,

I am Anil kumar and writing this after undergoing lot of pain caused from the Stray dogs in and around the streets of Income Tax Layout, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. There are huge number of stray dogs in and around the Chandra layout, Binny Layout and Income Tax area that is causing a terror for the general public and especially Children and Ladies. It has become impossible for public to walk in these areas / streets fearing the dogs.
The problems created by these stray dogs are innumerous and needs immediate attention.
1) Barks and Chases to bite the children on the streets
2) Most of these dogs are infected with diseases, which is dangerous
3) These dogs bark and fight each other day / night and has become a nuisance to the residents.
4)These dogs roam on the streets spoiling the streets with around residential areas.
5) The dog menace has been there for 6-8 months now.
6)They launder and create ruckus fighting each other, barking all the night, killing the pups of other dogs etc, barking on the little ones and chasing them etc...

It has become a daily nuisance in the Residential areas of Income tax layout, Vijayanagar, Bengaluru to clear the of dogs in front of the houses.

Let's us prevent dog bites from stray dogs and protect our generation from Rabies.

The street where i am staying is a Official Residential area in Income Tax Layout, and there are about more than 18-20 or even more dogs in the locality where i am living.
This is a concern from a Hardcore well wisher of Bengaluru and a Parent of a child who was chased by a dog, but escaped for today.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am living at Ramurthy Nagar (Akashaya Nagar) Ist Block, Ist Main, Ist Cross. Every day i have to face a battle with stray infact it had bitten many people in my street, Whether the BBMP will take this up seriously.People coming after Night shift and small children face lot of problems even in night times we are not able to sleep well becacuse dogs are making lots of noise this really very much irritates to us.

Please take necessary action on this.

Please please take action on Stray dogs removal from the Bangalore streets. This is a major concern as rightly mentioned by my friends here..

Before it's too late.. otherwise Dogs will Rule Bangalore, as the Stray Dogs population is almost equal to the human population. :-)

I would request all residents to come up and stage a dharna(peacefull) near BBMP untill they resolve this problem.

There are a lot of stray dogs in lakkasandra and wilson garden area. The dogs rob you sleep and peace of mind. Will BBMP ever do something with regard to this problem. Are they sleeping? Stray dogs are a menace. Please make Bangalore free of stray dogs.

Please take action on Stray dogs...So many accidents are happening because of Stray dogs...Lot of dogs are there on the way from ITPL to Kundalahalli(via Nellurahalli)

Banglore is improving a lot...Even on every small street we can see Thar roads...But, why BBMP is not taking any action on this issue.

the stray dogs in 1st main mico layout b t m 2 nd stage, there are 6 dogs in this single road and keep the people awake whole night the chase people and even bite many people. i request the bbmp officials to take up matter seriouly and do somthing to caused the damage for the people.

i am from indore, from indore to mhow there are lots of dogs hit by trucks and other big vhicules and lost their life, its my hummble request to plz remove dogs from highway's, every day one or more then one dog get horebale death, our indore welfare society done nothing for streay dogs.i hope you will take some strong action.plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz save our onest gurds.

We the residents of Agrahara layout 18th cross (near yelahanka) are facing lot of problems from monkeys as there are more than 25 numbers every day there is lossdamage of household properties Kindly solve this problem at the earliest

I am one of the poor victiom of 'dog attack'. Dog bitten me on last monday when I was travelling in my bike.
The no of stray dogs in my area (G.M.Palaya, Bangalore) is increasing day by day. Earlier the dogs just comes by barking whenever bike passess (usualy between 8 PM to 8 AM). But nowdays it started bitting too. I have callled to complain the same BUT what they are saying is 'They can't take it or kill that, they will just sterilize it and drop it in the same place. Whats is the ... ???. I think they will not understand this case unless untill some of their own officers faces this kind of issue. Do anyone have any suggestions???

Dogs are eating one another

Dear Sir,

I live in 4th cross, ganesha block, sultanpalya R.T.Nagar Post, Bangalore. We have a serious problems of stray dogs in this area. Today, I was witnessed to a feeding frenzy where a group of 25 dogs attacked one dog and ate it up alive in front of my gate. I request you to please help in clearing this stray dog problem. The dogs are tired waiting for you to take action and are killing each other. - am attaching a picture of the BBMP food festival.

OMG that's sad...ppl do something about this...we also have a lot of stary dogs problem near my house in Bhopal. Atleast we should been provided with a stary dogs care number or smthng for specific cities

I stay at Ayyappa Nagar, KR Puram. I am also facing the stray dog problem. In front of my apartment there are around 5-8 dogs. Due to that we are not able to cross the road during the night times.
Is there any contact number of Dog Catcher?

I am shariff staying in 6th cross, Narayanappa Block, benson town post, bangalore -46, We are facing a lot of dog problems.. Our are has become haunting points of dogs, there are more than 12 dogs in our locality.. As our House door is connnected directly to road.. We are unable to sleep because of these dog.. They Keep barking all night.. No what or who it is.. they start barking to a passerby..
I request the BBMP Authorities to file a compliant. And Take Immediate action against this... Plz do the need full Immediately.
