SBI Credit Cards — Credit card Mishandling

Dear sir,

I m an employee of LIC of India and this mail is the result of frustration which the State bank of India Credit card had caused me.
I have been a credit card holder of SBI from 2001 and i have paid all my credit amounts correctly . The last credit card which i receiced was for the year 07-08 which ended on May 2008, after which i did not receive any card from SBI. All of a sudden for the month of June i received a statement stating that i had used my card and purchased jewellery and other household from some shops in chennai( i recide in Trichy) and i have to pay the same amount.
This problem caused a havoc in my family and my wife who is already a heart patient is serious now. Till date i havent received any such card(the card number provided in the statement is not the one which i had previously).
Now i m receiving calls from the call centers daily which is disturbing my peace of mind.
The very day when i first received the statement from SBI i had contacted the number[protected] and had lodged a complaint stating all the details i have. The person who replied from the customer care too informed me that the card is only in the dispatched position and hasnt been received either by the customer or had returned to the SBI.
Please understand my problem and provide me with a solution to this as the only option i m left with is to sort the hands of Human Rights and to the Chief minister's cell here in TamilNadu.

Even I got an offer for BERG Tandoor from my ICICI credit card. Being tempted to see the offer, I ordered this BERG Tandoor from Ava Merchandising by paying from my credit card. But Just like Dr. Deshpande, Even I received it in broken condition. Its handle was completely broken, the heating coil and tray were not fixed at all. The fitting screws were lying around in the box. Needless to say, it was not at all in working condition. It was a clear that this condition was NOT at all due to mishandling by courier company. The product was not quality checked by Ava Merchandising guys at all. I immediately called Ava Merchandising for this on 12th May 09. They told me that withing 3 days this broken product will be picked up from my house. and withing next 7 to 14 working days I'll get a new working product.
I waited till 22nd May 09. I did not receive any communication from Ava Merchandising guys. So I called them again, Even this time I was promised that withing next 3 days the broken piece will be picked up and I'll get a new piece withing next 7 days.
But till today-3rd June 09, I have not received any communication from Ava Merchandising.

I would recommend everybody to not to go for any product from Ava Merchandising. They just cheat with the customers.

I agree with you, the same thing happen with me i have contacted mr NEERAJ SHARMA.The owner of the company and said it was a broken tandoor, he refused to change it then i scared him and with in 2 days he changed my tandoor.so please contact MR NEERAJ SHARMA--[protected]; [protected]...

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Could you please let me know how you scared him? Did you threaten to lodge a complaint in consumer court? or something else?

Yes i lodge a complaint agains Neeraj sharma and he called me and he personaly came to my place and replaced old to new one.you can contact the owner neeraj and formaly inform him this is the case and i need replacement he will surely replace it.

I did contact Neeraj Sharma on the phone numbers provided by you. He gave me a number and address of a local shop owner who deals in these berg tandoors. That Shopkeeper said that since I havent purchased the product from him he wont help me replace it. However he said that with minimal expenses he can help me repair the tandoor. Then I contacted Neeraj Sharma again, this time he said that since I havent purchased it directly from him, he wont help me. He said I will have to contact AVA guys for the replacement. And so far AVA guys are always saying that within coming friday the product will be picked up from my home. I think I have run into the cycle of complaints only.

Did you order it from AVA Merchandising? Or you ordered directly from Berg Industries?

Dear Team,
We have been victimised of misselling by BERG . Recently we bought 2 no.s of Steamers but to our utmost dismay the promises made by the company was found totally false and malafide. Firstly no demo was given to us and we were promised that the demo person will be visting shortly but all our efforts went in vain and even after completion of almost one month or so no body has turned up.

Although it is mentioned in the manual that for cooking Rice and celeals it will take max 30 mints but even after 1 hour or so the smae is found half cooked. This is simply case of cheating and we cannot affort to loose our hard earned money going to waste. Pls find a way out or else we will be forced to go to consumer forum.
As per the local dealer, these types of false promises are made by the comany peoples to promote the product for which they cannot take the responsibility. We are going to raise the issue to Junior Chamber of International and we not leave any stone unturned untill and unless the problem is resolved...

Hii Im Nishant from goa I saw their offer on TATA SKY ACTIVE MALL.
they Said i would be given a free reebok watch if I purchased their berg tandoor worth rs. 1750/-
I ordered it And Got the delivery in a months time. it was today 21st november i got the delivery.
The Payment mode was Cash On Delivery..

I paid The courrier Boy And Took My parcel..

After opening it I was really dissapointed with my purchase as said above The heating plates were not screwed and the handle was broken plus to add a bonus My FREE REEBOK WATCH was MISSING.
They did not send me the the watch but it was clearly mentioned on the box that my consignment contains a watch But It Wasnt here...

I HAD ORDERED ELECTRIC TANDOR BERG IN THE MONTH OF JUNE REFFERED BY ICICI BANK STILL I NOT RECIVED THE PRODUCT I AM CONTACTING THROUH CUSTOMER CARE THEY PROMISE ME FALSE TELLING WE ARE SENDING SENDING .THESE PEOPLEARE TAKEN MY MONEY FROM ICICI BANK THIS FRAUD DONE BY ICICI BANK I AM TELLING FOR ALL INDIA PEOPLES BE CAREFUL ABOVE CHEATING PEOPLE COMPANY.....

hi iam monty. i hve buyed dis electric tandoor before 5 mnths and the company still nt given d demo they r saying that call manufacuture.we dont were to go and we want to use it.
