Berkshire Insurance — Pathetic Response

I wanted to renew my car insurance. Since the insurance was lapsed by 10 days, the vehicles was inspected by KEN SECURE-ally of berkshire insurance. The car is four years old and does not have a single dent on the entire body except a minor scratch on the front bumper. To my horror, the company gave the condition, in which, the front windscreen and the front bumper were excluded from the insurance policy! On insistence, the inspection of the vehicle was once again conducted and the report submitted by the inspector/surveyor was favourable. However, the company still remained adamant for exclusion of above mentioned parts of the body of the car from the insurance.
It is not understood that if the car is four years old and plying on the road, there would be some scratches on the bumpers. So do these companies want a brand new car even after depreciating the value of the car.
This shows the poor response of such companies and lack of trust. How a customer would rely on such companies for claim in case of any mishap? It is better to go for a little expensive premium policies than such offers.
