[Resolved]  Bharat Petroleum Gas — Delay in delivery of LPG gas cylinder

My name is Ramesh Chandra. I am a regular BP gas consumer. I am staying in bikaner and the dealer is siddhartha Gas Agency. Never I get cylinder in time. They take minimum 35 to 40 days to supply the refill from the date of booking whereas all the consumers in and around my house who use Indane gas are getting within 3 days or maximum one week. Can you kindly advise me what to do? Should I change the agency or the company it self?

last week i went to his agency and he promise to send the cylinder in 2 or 3 days.

I have a complaint regarding the Delivery Boys.
These People charge around Rs. 25/= more that the ususal rate per cylinder.
Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have booked my gas cylinder against consumer no. 18554 on dated 07/05/2010 in M/S Friends Gas Services Bharat Nagar New Delhi booking ID no. 1179502, But I cant received gas Cylinder till date.

As you know this episode repeated second time. Please do needful and take strong action against M/S Frindes Gas Services Bharat Nagar New Delhi

Delay in delivery of LPG gas cylinder
I am a regular BP gas consumer having connection No.288. I am a Central Government Official and staying at H.No.25, Mayur Vihar, Phase-1, Meerut and the dealer is Brahma Jyoti Gas Agency. Never have I got cylinder in time. They take minimum 30 days for booking and another 15 to 20 days to supply the refill from the date of booking. They never pick the phone for booking. I have personally booked the gas on 25/6/10 and received the refill cylinder on 07/7/10 at 9.30p.m. After complaint to Sr Sales Office at his Mob.No. [protected] and thereafter booked on 10/8/10 and received the refill cylinder on 25/8/10 again after message to Sr Sales Officer at his mobile no.[protected]. Can you kindly advise me what to do? Should I change the agency or the company it self? I also want to know that after how many days I can book the gas after delivery of a refill cylinder. I am the consumer of Bharat gas BANU GAS AGENCY maduravail Chennai. They have not supplied regularly. they have taken delivery more then 20 days to 25 days to deliver the cylinder after bokking. Even they supplied and deliver the cylinder as per the supply boy his own schedule.daily i was spoken to the office thay are said sir, today it will be get it, afternoon i was call you thay are telling sir tomorrow it will be deliver the same story i was hearing before 10 day i have 2 kid's how to manage ? so Kindly make arrangements to correct the delivery schedule.

I am N.Natarajan from Agashi, Virar(W) having BP gas consumer no.3713 with Anita gas agency, Bolinj, Virar(W).
I know that this agency sells the cylinders in black. I am not interested in complaining & wasting my time. But as Iam always having problem with this agency about the supply of refil to me.
Last, I have booked for my refil on 26th August 2010, From 8th September we try & contact this office several times & the inform us that there is shortage of the product.
Yesterday when I approached them they infrmed me that the cylinder was taken by the delivery boy on the same day. But yesterday also we did not receive.
Today when contacted they promise to deliver it today.
The necessary action may be taken and please inform me.

I, Achinto Sen, (A.sen) bearing consumer number 7611 of Bhartiya Gas agency, Katchari Road, Ranchi (Jharkhand) and S.v.No.8567639 dated 16.6.99, have booked for L.P.G on 5.10.2010 and after repeated request distributor is not providing the gas cylinder, regarding that I have already lodged telephonic complaint to the competent authority.
It is very painful to submit that consumers of that agency have to wait almost for a month for gas cylinder and that cylinder has to obtain by the consumer from place fixed by the agency and that place is also not permanently fixed and changed by the agency of his own will. i.e.clear violation of the law relating to supply of gas and it is also gross negligence on the part of the baratiya gas agency.
This complaint is for information and do needful action against the agency in accordance with law.

OUR FEDERATION MEMBERS VISITED M/S THILLAI GAS AGENCIES AND DISCOVERED THAT IT IS WELL PLANNED BY THE OWNER OF THE AGENCY THAT ALL THE STAFF HAVE BEEN CLEARLY INSTRUCTED NOT TO ATTEND THE PHONE CALLS. BUT ATTEND 1 OR 2 CALLS AND PRETEND LIKE ATTENDING THE CALLS. MORE OVER STAFF STRENGTH IS TOO MUCH. ALL ARE GIRLS. 10 OR 15 TIMES TOO MUCH THAN THE ACTUAL REQUIREMENTS OF MANPOWER. COMPUTERS ARE ALSO TOO MUCH THAN REQUIRED. OVERALL MAN POWER IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE. SO THE OWNER HAS TO PROVIDE SALARY STRUCTURES TO THE WORKING POPULATION AND INFRA STRUCTURE AND POWER COSTS.

THE OWNER IS SITTING IN A AC ROOM LIKE A LAZY LORD. THE WORKERS (GAS SUPPLIERS)ARE DEMANDING AN EXTRA COST OF RS.15 OR TO BUY GROCERIES WORTH AROUND RS.200. GAS SUPPLIERS HAVE BECOME GROCERY SUPPLIERS. AN AMOUNT IS FIXED TO GET THE CYLINDER INSTANTLY BY PURCHASING GROCERIES. SO GAS CYLINDERS ARE SUPPLIED ILLEGALLY IN ALL THE AVAILABLE WAYS. SO THE REAL CONSUMERS FED UP BY PHONING WITHOUT RESPONSE FLEE TO THILLAI GAS AGENCIES PHYSICALLY AND GET A READY MADE REPLY SUPPLIED IN 2 DAYS. NO WAITING NOS. OR BOOKING NOS. ARE PROVIDED. ADDING FUEL TO THIS STAFFS ARE LOOKING LIKE PILE PATIENTS ANGRILY REPLYING NO SUPPLY NO SUPPLY. THIS PRACTICE IS DONE FOR A LONG TIME.

IT IS PRESUMED THAT INSPECTING M/S BHARAT GAS SERVICE OFFICERS COME TO THILLAI GAS SERVICE AND EAT SOMETHING RETURN AFTER GETTING A SIZABLE AMOUNT. STRINGENT ORDERS AS PER LAW SHOULD BE ENFORCED IN REGULATING PROPER GAS SUPPLY. SUITABLE STRICT PROMPT INSPECTING OFFICERS SHOULD BE POSTED AND PUNISHMENTS GIVEN.

UNLESS SUITABLE ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THIS AGENCY THERE IS NO MEANING FOR EXISTENCE OF HUGE CORPORATE LIKE M/S BHARAT PETROLEUM GAS SERVICE.

I am a Bharat gas consumer. Our gas agency is Chitoor gas agency, Stadium, Kollam, Kerala.My consumer No. is 16574. I have booked one cylinder on January 27th vide Booking No.9799. But in spite of my various reminders over phone they have 'nt delivered the cylinder. I and my wife are senior citizens of age 83 and 73 years respectively. We are suffering a lot without gas.
