[Resolved] Big Bazaar, Kandivali — Billed wrongly | |
Usually big bazaar advertises huge discounts during 15th aug especially in food bazar (combo offers). Since there is huge rush, I had gone there early in the morning - 7am and after waiting for 2 hrs for the outlet to open, I made my purchases. During the billing, there was problem in the system and the cashiers had to redo their billing. When this was being done, somebody walked away with my trolley. After getting another trolley, I just walked away without really checking the bill as the outlet was getting crowded. After reaching home, I checked the bill and saw that I was billed twice for the combo offer when I had purchased only one quantity - The cost of the combo offer for 5kg basmati rice, 5kg sugar and 3lit oil was 499 (I was supposed to save 400 on the offer) and I ended up paying 998/- due to no fault of mine. I am sure since Big Bazaar has a computerised system and they must be having daily stock reading, they will have this extra amount on their system. But I did not want to face any embarrassment at the outlet where I am a regular buyer. Instead of a saving I ended up wasting my time and money. If big bazaar really lives up to its reputation, it will reimburse me my money other I will really feel cheated whenever I visit the outlet and stop going there altogether. I really felt duped on Independence Day... Bill Num : T31/1091 for total amount of Rs. 3080/- (BatchNo.000377). Can I expect Big Bazaar to live up to its good name????
