[Resolved]  Birla Sunlife Insurance — False rebate promised by its officials

In May’2007, I had evinced an interest in Birla Sunlife’s Children’s Dream plan and accordingly tried to contact Birla Sunlife branches in Faridabad and Janakpuri, Delhi. Soon I had received a call from Mr. Harindar Rai who introduced himself as Agency Manager in Birla Sunlife Insurance( Scanned copy of his visiting card enclosed) and promised to arrange a rebate of 30% on the first year premium. As the rebate was attractive, I readily agreed and applied for the Children’s Dream plan. The nature of payment can be verified from the first premium paid alongside the application – Rs. 3070/- (which is 70% of 2 x 2192 = 4384) vide IOB cheque No.807342 and Rs.1314/- as cash ( which is exactly 30% of 2 x 2192 = 4384 i.e. the rebate promised) deposited by the aforesaid Mr. Harinder Rai himself. I was told that the next rebate on premiums would be deposited directly to my HDFC a/c. Later I had received Birla Sunlife’s policy no.[protected] with client ID [protected]. Since then I had paid all the premiums due but no rebate had been passed on to me as yet as per the promise and this Mr. Harinder Rai the Agency Manager of Birla Sunlife had become incommunicado.

I had made several written and electronic complaints to Birla Sunlife Insurance requesting to cancel the policy made by wrong enticement and refund the premiums or at least the the NAV of the units outstanding to my credit and not to further process my policy payments. But Birla Sunlife is yet to address these grievances of mine. Please look into the matter and ensure that the aforesaid policy is cancelled and get the premiums alongwith interest or I should be passed on the rebate as promised from the commission of the concerned insurance agent or that Harinder Rai.

Birla Sunlife Insurance — Not received the Certificate Even after One year

I have taken Birla sunlife Indurnce during July, 2007 and paid primium Amount of Rs 20, 000.00 in Bangalore Branch. I have not got the Certificate yet & Co is asking for Next Premium Payment. Now they are seeking certificate/ afidavate from Notery, saying that I have Lost the Certificate.



This is horrible with private Insurance Co. One Can expect our situation during Repayment of Insurance amount.

I have Original slips of premium Payment.
Please let us know, whether i can get back this money.
Please also let us know the formaliteis of registering complaints

second after issue of policy only within 15 days u can cancel it

This complaint was showing that customer had forced to take his commission from Agent & agent had denay to hand over the commsison to client .
Anyways !!! Dream plan is a Such very Good Plan
And as per IRDA no commission will exchange to anybody asking commission & giving commisson is Crime

Birla sunlife issue a fake a policy No[protected] using My name and A/c Number. And ECS deduct from my Account when i file complain at birla sunlife site nothing is done by its side and say to me that a application to stop ECS from my A/C.when i submit application then birla sunlife said my sign did't match. How surprise that fake Policy issue to me and with fake sign. and birla sunlife match fake sign with my real sign and said that is matched with my sign. and enforce me that to agree that policy and pay for that. i am really nervous for this type of attitute.and surprise that policy issue from my A/c and ECS deduct from A/c and i am not unable to stop and some one enforce me we agreed this policy and pay for it.

payment no payment no sallary, demand salary demand regqinetion or GO H0ME I WORK I APPIMENT ADVISER BUT VERY BAD EXPERIENCE NO SINGLE PAYMENT BY THE COMPANY very complints t the compay but not action,
I m also having Birla Sunlife Children's dream plan which I had started in March 07 and the Company's agent/ advisor Mr. VIKAS SETHI of Jabalpur had not given the commission. I invested Rs. 25, 000 annually accordingly commission of at least 30% or someone else told that it is 40% those days (It was mentioned in ToI in May 2007 that the commission is around 40% if someone help me then I will collect the ToI cutting also) of Rs. 7500 or Rs. 10, 000 is to be recd from the agent/Advisor but Mr. VIKAS SETHI of Jabalpur had given only Rs. 3000/ after too many persuals which was not right.

Later on we come to know that in April/ May onwards the agent/Advisor Mr. Sethi has changed the company and we were bound to pay next premiums, which was really heavy. These type of behaviour of Agents and Officers/ Advisors should be taken seriously by the companies head offices so that company's image will not be damaged. We are in the impression that "We were cheated by this policy so we are not recommending others for such policy)
First of all one does not have the right to ask rebate in insurance policies. If you ask, you are equally guilty. As for the agents and managers offering rebate in commissions, they are trying to exploit the greed in you. Insurance policy is a legal contract and asking rebate in commission is like bribing. I hope everyone is clear of what they are getting into. The message is clear: DONT ASK OR GIVE REBATES IN COMMISSION. Another way of looking at this issue is that the commission is the only income source for the agent. We should not try to snatch it from them.

still i hav not recd the policy documents as per your Customer care Exective my document has been despatched on 12/5/2009, and no idea about it who hold my Documents ?it not a gud news for every customer,

for your kind information now i dont want this policy reason your know as promised by your agents and company response and holding my money .

i request to you kindly cancle my Above said policy and refund my initial premum Amount asap.

I am DR.SANJIB KUMAR MANDAL, a policy holder<product name:-C D P> .My proposal no:[protected] through PERFECT DUO code no :-45983 (POLICY NUMBER:[protected].Though my premium Rs.10000 was received on[protected]cheque no :-008403 of AXIS BANK)But till today I have not received any document i.e receipt & policy.please inform me about my policy very soon.
till 28.06.09 my premiums are been deducted regularly through axis bank yelahanka branch bangalore for my policy no.[protected] and[protected] but I am having a doubt whether it is being credited regularly to my account. kindly confirm and send me a account statement as early as possible.

Birla Sunlife Insurance — recieved marketing call even I'm registered for DND registry

I'm not sure from where they get my number.
I think, my communication rpvide Idea is responsible for this.
please guide me how can I take this complaint to right channels.

i've joined ur company as an agency manager(rural) at azamgarh (U.P.)branch.my employee i.d. is 30579.sir i joined company on 18/03/09.and resigned on 30/06/09.sir the problem is i, ve not received any payment from the date of my joining.everytime when i askw for my salary the branch manager mr.ashwani kumar singh said that due to lackness at h.r. end my salary could not released and now he is saying that all the salaries wii be credited along with full & final settelment.sir kindly let me kmow when i'll get my salary and f&f.

myself paresh patel presently i am an agent of baroda branch and my agent code AA2279.MY problem is company without taking my permission in form Mr. PARESH SHAH agent code AM4791 who is area manger added dummy policy and check bounced so company recovered 2550/ rupees with me . So i cant understand company recovered with me why you recovered area manager. And then he resigned .So my request is company recover PARESH SHAH 2550 rupees and give me commsion because his full and final check remaing. So i request you sir if you are not able to solve my probems i will go IRDA. Many time i complain my branch manager but no budy solve my problems.

I have taken a policy from Birla Sun life . The policy no is 2919875. I haven't received any of the documents from your side. I am very disappointed with the kind of services you have provided to me. Now, I want to cancel my policy . Please do the required steps for the same as soon as possible otherwise I have to go to consumer court for the same.

Before ur taking policy from any company first thing ask the advisors how many years they r in this field. secondly u have to take policy those who r professionally qualified, he know all the details, whether he calculated the need o[censored]( Need analysis). Before selling the products the first As a insurance advisor professionally doing the businees they know how to sell the products He will give perfect service, Basically all the clients expecting rebates, those who getting rebates no service from the advisors.Profesional advisors wont give rebate. In ur case ur policy document will reach ur residence, i[censored]r in out of station at that time some person will get the document, otherwise the document goes to branch or head office., i[censored] need the policy document u have to give Rs.100 stamp paper regarding the missing of documents, request to issue the policy document. Roughly 10 days u will get the documents. Ur policy in force. u have to pay the renewal premium.No bother.No refund after 5 years u can surrender.
