[Resolved]  Blackberry — Service Centre

I have a airtel blackberry set 8310. The display of the same is not working. I asked the customer service on [protected] that this is the problem on 1st oct 2008 at 8:00p.m.. So the prompt reply was please take it to customer care. i was given 2 addresses of Authorized Customer care centres in Delhi - one in South ex and one in NOIDA. Since I live in Patparganj, Airtel Blackberry Centre, Shop no. 225, Shoprix Mall, Sector-61, NOIDA, was nearer. I was told a time of 10am-6pm as working hrs. I reached the centre at 10.25 AM on 3rd Oct 2008. There was no one at blackberry complaint desk. The Airtel people say the concerned people will come at 11. I reconfirm after 20 minutes, they say Mr. Shiraz at Airtel Blackberry Centre was on leave and someone else would come at 11.25. At 11.25 on inquiring that no one has come, they say Blackberry dept is on not working till Monday i.e 6th Oct 2008, after, e waiting for 1 hour. Still no one at the desk. I had called customer care at 10:35 to complain that no one was at thed esk, they refuse to take a complaint and have no clue as to who would be the responsible person to reply. they say, its the service centre people only. Net of net, after a 1 hr to and fro drive and 1 hr of waiting, my net result is zero with no one to complain to. This is blackberry service? Where do the consumers go? what can they do? Airtel is cash rich on base of its customers- customers who can do nothing about their plight and there is no central body to take up their issues. This is INDIA

Dear Concerned ( if there is any)

I am a really frustrated customer of Blackberry bold. my mobile screen wouldn't turn on and i handed over the handset to the Axion showroom where i had purchased the handset on being told that the same will be repaired and handed over to me in 2 weeks time. I was not provided a spare blackberry phone.

the date was 14.06.2010/ invoice number 47.

to this very date, i am yet to receive the handset back despite many calls and follow ups. first they said that it will be repaired and handed over. then they said that it was returned from Blackberry office, Bangalore, but as the problem persisted they have again sent it back to Blackberry bangalore. after a month they stated that Blackberry has decided to replace the phone for me. it is One and half months since then and the false promises continue to plague me. The reason being given now is that blackberry doesnt have a handset to issue as replacement. ( and they want me to believe it.) how frustrating can it get. The same excuse has been continuously given for the past one and half months now. It is pathetic to note that blackberry india doesn't have a replacement handset !!!


If i am not issued a replacement mobile, i have decided to go the the consumer courts and sue Axiom and Blackberry and report the incompetence to the New papers in India.


i had purchased this handset from Axiom showroom in Select City walk, Saket, new delhi, India.

I am totally agree with everyone as i m also facing problem in my Handset BB Storm 9500 since last two weeks.And i have no information about the service centre of BB even after lot of my efforts.

I had purchsed it from UAE and i m in INDIA (Delhi) now. i am feeling totallly helpless to resolve the problem (No Display ).I had also updated it through Desktop Manager, but it proves worthless also.

I had tried to find the addresses of the service centre at various link including blackberry sites so that i may contact them to make it works, but didn't find any link or address by which my problem can be resolved.

Please suggestme some good service centres of BB in delhi nearby rohini or pitampura, delhi. as i dn't wanna give my handset to local mobile repairing centre..

Airtel — blackberry repair services

My blackberry service stopped working on Friday August 20th. On complaining about this, their Representative assured me that will get taken care of promptly. I received one single call on that day from tech service department and they said , someone will call and be at my place. It is 4 days later . i have spoken in excess of 20 times to their Cs representatives and 3 supervisors. They assured me that it will get repaired by this evening. of course it is not repaired nor has anyone called me. Now , only when I called and spoke to the supervisor, they inform me it will take 48 ore hours. what i am appalled with is their inability to follow up on what they promised and their inability to correctly provide information to the customer regarding repairs.

blackberry is a wasteberry phone, also the customer service is too worst...
if you give a complaint, the RIM in mumbai takes the piece and replaces and give back, then it'll go with a new issue.. they all cheating...
i wont buy another black berry again, round ball and ring, i had to replace and get new third times cost me more then $75.00.
i'm not happy at all with the breakage of these blackberry's phones! i must say i love the blackberry itself but after buying my first one, it worked perfectly, except the charger did not work atall, so i phoned up the services and they told me to phone up orange to ge it replaced, they would not do so till they had confirmation from blackberry, and then they gave me a new handset, and didnt even give me the same number! so after giving everyone my new number a couple of days later the phone kept turning off then wouldnt come back on! so i phoned up blackberry again and they sayd they could do nothing about it not even send me out a new handset which should be done, i am apaulled the way this situation works and i hope you get back to me very soon to let me know what the hells happening!!!

i have purchased the blackberry 8900 javelin phone on 6 sep 2010. from our local retailer of the city m/s nagpal mobile in which i suffer from huge difficulties by purchasing the blackberry cell phone. i purchsed it bcoz of facilities but all are going bad the lights keypad is not blinking the ph. is hanging many times the buttons are going sticky inside.sir sorry to say i purchse it for faciliies but it is being a trouble for me your all service centres are far from my city a distance of 3 hrs run and also i didnt have time to came there plz give me solution as soon as possible..

A very pathetic phone response from Redington India Ltd. I am trying to reach Redington India Ltd at Bangalore on this phone number 30554512 / 30554524 but they do not pick up the phone. You can see that the number will be busy for 5 to 10 min or more and in a gap of 10sec when I get a chance to hear the ringtone there will be no one to respond. They should rather give up the Blackberry service facility to some company who have real interest to support customers. Its really hard to understand whether its Blackberry who is BAD or Redington.
Hi, i hav purchased Blackberry Curve 8520 from Feeling Mobile, Shop No. 17, Shastri Market, Varanasi U.P on 02/09/2010 (bill no. 700).
After fully charging the set i used it for 4 Hours and found that the battery is discharged. I contacted the seller, he sugguested to again charge it for 3-4 hour the mobile will work. Again after charging it for 4 hour, it was discharged after 2 hour.
On my again complaint, shop keeper kept the set on 4th Sep. for checking the set. Today (16.09.2010) the set is laying with the shopkeeper.

i havnt received my strom 9530 which was given on 3rd sept sat customer care in gurgaon
BB should not have entered teh mass market and it only should have been catering to the corporate world, obviously it has no clue how to handle volumes, after sales and product warranty quality etc.

Pre MASS VOLUMES: BB 1 phone broke, replace it, 1 guy at teh service centre with a smiling brod at the front desk, does the trick...how ? well the busy executive comes in hands over teh phone and complaint, he is seated and treated while the phone is fixed or replaced.

Post MASS VOLUMES: BB 1000 phones busted, cant replace them !!, people are pissed, no one faces teh crowd at teh service centre, the chick disappears from the front desk. They cant deliver response or deliverables of a service centre anymore..the complainant is mistreated and dishonoured hoping against hope that he goes away and never comes back...

REASON: the jack asses at BB did not ever in their wildest dreams think they could sell so many handsets...NEWSFLASH: a holes we got spending power we got brains and we certainly have the brawns...you better get your act together or else people are just gonna love to dessimate your brand image whatever is left of it and ...hoorrah... for the indian government to latch in on the so called privacy...these jokesr cant get a phone made proper and they boast of their privacy and service quality standards...screw them wake up dumb check out them chinese phones...they do great !!

I my self purchased a BB 9000, my family owns 6 BB handsets at present and well guess what all of em suck... it is only right that Canada makes these phones...well they never expected to sell more than their population...10000 ?? huhh...world market...was a big accident for BB and it shows...

The best part is...normally when such issues are raised...someone from teh company steps in and provides solutions or such...these numb nuts have no clue they just froze i guess seeing teh sales figures for BB in India for teh last 2 years...get up nerds...these are real num bers and yes you sold so many crap phones now it is time to fix em...c mon princess...wake up and kiss the frogs... you never know which pissed off one might turn over and screw ya !!!

IPhone/ Touch p phone — responsibility

I am Pawan kumar dubey From Noida.I have purchased Touch P Phne handset of I Phone company from Naaptol.com April in rs 4299.00. After three months of purchase,handset occurred problems.Touchpad was not working.I make a call to Costumer care of naaptol.com.he said t me that your phone will be replaced within 7-10 working days. I sent my mobile via courier (Blue Dart) .company received my phone since 13 of July.My phone is not replaced still now, in between many times i make a call to costumer care.Every time they said to me that you'll get your mobile within 7 working days again & again I listen same answer. They told me that we are replacing your handset.After that they didn't respond me about my handset finally.After that I send a mail to naaptol.com at [protected]@naaptol.com.Again I not gated any respond from there end.
I request to the company to give my phone or money back.

I am really frustrated & disturbed by the attitude of naaptol.com. The company is merely interested in making profits by giving falls promises to the customers. I don’t know where to go for redress of my complaints. If naaptol.com is interested only in making profits and not interested in Customer care, they should quit their business. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING ANY PRODUCT FROM NAAPTOL.

Blackberry — Faulty Design/Phone already replaced

My blackberry Curve 8520 phone has given me heavy problems since the day i bought it.

My phone crashes and hangs often in spite of having no application installed on it.
Re install of O.S has been possibly thrice, but still no go
Phone has already been replaced once for issues like "No sound from speaker" and constant freezing issue.

Also, Redington India the vendor is insisting on yet another replacement, when i am about to travel on an imp assignment.
Am i entitled to seek a complete refund legally rather than just get refurbished replacements?
Can i take this to the courts? Please advice

I am holding a black berry hand set along with du plan. The unit was purchased from Plug In Dubai on 29/07/2010.
The following are the details of my hand set
BOLD 9700PDA+HMX-U10H under invoice no 674. The unit was purchased using my Master card and was in the name of Madathil Babu jayaprakash.

Sir the unit was lost beyond recovery and to avoid missusing by unknown person. made a formal comnplaint in du customer care for barring du no and was sucessfully barred until further use.

Sir now I want to find out from you whether possible to barr the handset completly? is so what should i do?

Is trhere any insurance scheem for this?

i have a pink blackberry pearl 8120 and the keypad has all messed up. Hardly any of the keys work. The few which do work arent doing the right things when i press them; for example when i press the ball which is like the select button it doesnt work. It comes up as 7. i took it to a shop and they said they couldnt fix it which obvioulsy means its a fault of the phones. And this isnt fair. i have only had the phone since christmas as it was a present. could some one please email me and try to help me. [protected]@live.co.uk thankyou.
