Blackberry Services On Airtel Prepaid — Blackberry Services not activated even after amount deduction | |||
Hi purchased a new Blackberry handset from Mobile Store and got an Airtel prepaid connection with the understanding that Airtel provides Blackberry services on prepaid connections. After activating the prepaid connection, I asked the Airtel customer care (Viman Nagar, Pune) about the process to enable The Blackberry Rs. 299 plan. I got the details and sent the relevant SMSes to activate the service. The amount (Rs. 299) was deducted from my account. But till now (2 days later) the Blackberry services are not activated and no update has been provided by Airtel about the same. I have lodged multiple complaints with Airtel but it seems that their customer care representative are totally unaware of what is going on. Their customer care (121) provide another number (7070) for Blackberry related queries but strangely the 7070 number is available only to thouse customers whi have an 'activated' blackberry connection. Since my number still does not have the activated Blackberry Service, I cannot get any assistance from Airtel to solve my query.
