sir i am facing such a horrible schene is that we take the broadband
connection of airtel at 7th feb and it will remain continue till mid
of april which is the duration of two months and at the begning of
april we face some stolen activity in my flat and all the laptops get
stole the fir report is also with me and after that i make call always
to 121 and 198 to disconnect legaly my broadband connection from your
side although it was not working it was already disconnected from the
outside port but there is no one to register my camplain and everyone
suggest me to call at 121 and register my complain but the result is
not as in my favour sir my no is [protected] and one more thing sir
the connection was disconnected from april sir now i m sick off
recieving phone calls from your customer representative as i already
mention that i talk to your cr on 3rd july he told me that you have to
pay 2000 rupeees which is final amount for you for using two month net
connection but although i recieve calls from your cr to pay more and
i pay that 2000 as my final amount with 500 advance which is deposited
in advance and the representative gave me his mobile no also named
rohit ([protected]) but now the no is going continusly swich off so how
can i get rid off these phone calls tell me otherwise i have to take
some other steps ...and you can also varify it that we did
not use connection from april so why should i pay for
that...
My broadband fixed line airtel connection bearing phone no.[protected] is almost dead and not working at all from yesterday the 6/11/2012. Kindly make it operational with immediate effect without fail.

Subject: Unresolved complaint from the customer despite 5 days and several reminders later..

Respected Mr Mittal,
There is something urgent and important that I have been wanting to write to you about…hoping to catch your attention..(for just 5 minutes).
Ours is a company with business interests in housing, energy and media.
Kindly allow me to draw your kind attention to the subject as at above. You could of course question as to why such a routine matter should have come to you . But the truth is the complaint is to date unresolved and it continues to paralyse our all business operations..and this is despite our repeated reminders.
Here is a short chronology of the precedent:
27/11/2012: complete shut down of both the telephone lines as well as internet ostensibly on account o[censored]npaid bill for Oct /Nov. The fact is that the bill for the period has been already paid vide airtel receipt serial 14, no.8 SS 083. (cash paid at ajnara vaishali counter) All this while it appears the actual reason had been the cable cuts which the customer handling officials were hiding and dragging their feet on this..
You could have the customer complaint number :25271946 and the company tel no. is .[protected] checked out for veracity.
28/11/2012: they were apparently rectifying the complaint..without cross checking for resolution.(the complaint of course remained unresolved
29/11/2012 Upon our checking again, they opened the same complaint for resolution ..they assured the internet and telephone lines would be operational…but nothing happened..only assurance of a visit by the lineman..(who has yet to arrive..maybe if we are lucky perhaps SANTA would rectify on Christmas..or even that is optimistic?
30/11/2012: Despite our reminder, no one came, and we remained cut off..Hapless.
1/12/2012: late afternoon, some senior official assured some one would have a look surely on 2/12/2012., but nothing happened .
2/12/2012: evening some one says it would be looked at on 3/12/2012.. well so far nothing again..

From the aforementioned narrative, my point is simple and two fold..
Airtel is strong, and a good company but the biggest area of concern is lack of real, actual sensitivity to customer need in true service oriented manner..(sadly missing..this is despite elaborate paraphernalia of call centre/customer care…(my humble request and a question to you : Have you ever tried (incognito)to get through to the customer care for any redressal?..how easy have you found it really to get through those endless attempts at “ press 1 for this press 2 for that..and on and on..) Try this ..it would be fun if only you could hold your nerves and patience. By the way good old days were better when the phone was picked up by actual human voice(real time) and you could converse..no?
Therefore what do you do to become a Great company from a mere Good one? Do small things correctly, diligently and promptly. By the way, repeat business from the customers and numbers of old customers retained would be fairly good indices to go by in assessing how effective your customers are being taken care of.
Second point of course is about the organizations remaining nimble footed despite becoming very big..the business imperatives may induce companies to grow and nothing wrong with that..just that the growth must be assimilated in to proactive capacity building initiatives..airtel must and probably will do the needful to becoming even bigger and better..after all whoever said Elephants can’t dance..just ask Moss kanter!
I have high regard for your innovative leadership sir and I trust this letter would at least reach your table and not just the official claptraps for yet another polite response of “some body will look in to …..”
