Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to the complaint against electricity bill. The above meter is in the name of Tuntun Poddar vide connection no. K.No.: 2630 J767 1973 and CRN No.: [protected] R/o Plot no. 20, Khasra No. 61/11, Gali no.-10, Jai Vihar Extn. Phase-III, Nangloi, New Delhi-110041. We received the electricity bill for the period of 24.07.2008 to 23.09.2008 and I got shocked when I saw the bill i.e. for Rs 1, 530.00. Since the time the meter was installed we never got the such big bill. Last bill, which I was paid for the month of June and July 2008 was for Rs. 150/-. This is excess billing is done due to not proper reading taken by the executive authorized for this area. Amount billed for 555 units which was consumed from the March 2008. But all the units consumed shown in this above period and bill charged at higher rate of Rs. 3.95 per unit. I am domestic consumer and my electric consumption is very low. Therefore you are kindly requested to please correct/rectify the bill so that I can able to make the payment immediately.

DAILY POWER FAILURE OF MORE THAN 8 HOURS IN DABRI VILLAGE

THERE HAS BEEN DAILY POWER FAILURE OF MORE THAN 8 HOURS WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE IN ANY CONDITION. AS WE CAN NOT MANAGE OUR DAILY LIFE ACCORDINGLY.

NOW THE CONDITION OF POWER CUT IS VERY FRUSTRATING. BSES DELHI ELECTRICITY SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR IN DABRI VILLAGE, NEAR JANAKPURI, WEST DELHI.

BSES MUST BE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AS EARLIEST BECAUSE PUBLIC IS VERY ANGRY AND FRUSTRATING WITH THEIR SERVICE.
Dear sir,
i am consumer of your BSES Rajdhani having my CRN no.[protected]. i am shocked to received a bill of Rs 1850/for the Month of May which is exorbitent and excessive as my flat is locked for the last five months i.e since january and there is no electricity in my flat as there is some fault. i had also deposited Rs.2390/ in the Month of March 2010. i noticed that in adjacent to my meter no.14008905 there is another meter no.14008903 which is supposed to be the person who is living on the 3rd floor which i found not working for the last 2 and half months and his meter reading shows 4510 for the last 2 and half months. it seems that some body is using my meter illegally. kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against the person involved in electricity theft from my meter..

On 19/04/2010, to deal with my complaint No.67 dt.19/04/2010, centralised complaint no. [protected] dt.19/04/2010, the lineman Sh. Banwari had to break the seal of the meter and the fact was noted by me on his complaint compliance receipt no.184569 which i think he submitted back to the office.However, the meter in question has not been resealed so for.Yesterday, again there was a complaint and I spoke to the lineman who came to deal with the complaint, regarding the seal of the meter but no satisfactory guidance was given. In view of the aforesaid, please arrange to do the needful at the earliest as it is now almost 2 months and nothing has been done on your own.

My name is Rahul and i live in durgavihar phase-I, deenpur Najafgarh. Sir i am facing a problem of power cutt in my area which generally happens at the night time and get back in morning at 8am or sometimes at 10-11am. And this is not the matter of one or two day, it is happening since last 3 weeks for which we are facing lot of problems as you know the climate now is getting very humid and hot. My kids can't sleep in absence of electricity as they have their schools in the morning which results in their holidays.Nobody comes for repair if the fault occurs in electricity occurs at night. My complaint center is Jhatikra Mod but nobody pick up the phone if we call their for complaint. I think this kind of staff should be fired off and new ones should be employed.
Hope this problem will be treated on Priority. Always thankful to you.

This is with reference to the complaint against electricity bill. The above meter is in the name of Deepak Sharma vide connection no. K.No.: 2650 W311 0172 and CRN No.: [protected] R/o A-2/90, G/F Hastsal Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059. We received the electricity bill for the period of Jul'10 Bill date 26/7/2010 and I got shocked when I saw the bill i.e. for Rs 9420.00. Since the time the meter was installed we never got the such big bill. This is excess billing is done due to not proper reading by computer or yours electronics reading equipments .I am domestic consumer and my electric consumption is normal. We are Six family live here in this building. I resive a hague amout of bill. Therefore you are kindly requested to please correct/rectify the bill so that I can able to make the payment immediately.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards sir i want to aware you about the curruption in bses employee if you are not aware of it in karawal nagar extention locality every BSES mostly person is currupted i can tell you some curruption details in karawal nagar extention gali no-4 bses employee dig the pole in front of house who did not given him money you can see irregularity of pole in gali no-4/1 ( swami vivekanand coaching centre wali gali) i will give you more details when you solve this problem I also tell you name of these employee but solve these problem first.

Street lights in Vasant Kunj, B-10, are always on during day time. It is happening since months. Earlier complaints thro channels have gone futile. Lastly am writing to you. The co is BSES-Rajdhani.

BSES New Delhi — Unaccountable electricity billing

Hi All,

This is Sumedha residing at Vasundhara Enclave, New Delhi. This is to bring to light the increasing unbelieveable electricity bills that are being dished out to my address since the last few months by BSES. BSES has always had a dubious reputation of various kinds of billing irregularities, but for the last few months I had tried to find reasons at at our consumption end for the increases. However, both me & my flatmate are at our wits end on seeing this month's billing spiking even more than the last ! Both o[censored]s incumbents are more than sure that consumption has been much lower at out end as we have been keeping all optional uses like coolers, extra fans & lights at nil.

As a journalist, and citizen aware of the level of corruptions prevalent in our electricity systems, i am not going to buy this hideous bill! Either BSES has been engaging in unscrupulous billing or someone has been stealing/pulling off electricity from our connection. There is sparking in my electricity meter. I have complained many times but your line men are not coming. It can cause short circuit also. Who will be responsible for same?
Here is sparking in our electricity meter. I have complained two times over phone. Everytime your CCE said the line man will come within 45 minutes to srt out the problem but still your line man has not come. Sparking causes short circuit in meter. Who will be responsible for same???

Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

For the last ten to twelve days the cable is lying on the road which has to be put underground. Nobody has come to put the cable underground. The residents of C Block DDA Flats Munirka are suffering a lot. Made complaints several times but of no use. Made complaints at Vasant Vihar but of no use. The service is very poor. Nobody listen here. Can anyone from high end officers come and see as to how the cable is lying on road. Pl help us and depoloy the staff to put the cable underground.

Dear Concern,


This is to inform you that resident of village-Anarwala, post office
dehradun cantt, district-dehradun, uttaranchal, Mr.Suraj thapa and
Mr.Shivraj Thapa S/O Late Dil Bahadur Thapa are regularly discharging
waste water mixed with toilet and soap to the government constructed
public road. (Land mark: Ratan Lala ki dukan, bye pass to Robber’s
cave)
The same has been brought into the notice of local authority headed by
Village-Anarwala Pradhan Mrs. Nirmala Thapa to many times, for which
she took strong steps & immediatly spoke to Mr.Thapa, however
Mr.Suraj Thapa not only ignored her order but increased the flow of
waste water to the public road, subsequently, complainent villagers
filled written application with their signature to the village-
Anarwala Pradhan for which as per the rules and regulations, Village
Panchayat was held, during the Panchayat meeting Mr.Suraj Thapa
apolozed and assured to stop the discharging of water on public
road, but till date no action is taken.
The water which is discharged are not only used water but sometimes
they keep the fresh water continously discharge through their boundry
walls outlet causing fresh water shortage for all.
Consiquences: very harmful not only to the public health but also to
environment as the above harmful liquid are stored in the corner of
the road which resulted water borne deseases such as skin deseases,
mallaria, dengue, high fiver and accidents such as slip and fall
frequently .
Note: Please investigate the constituents of this waste water for if
any toxic/hazardous chemicals are mixed as it result is very bad
smell.

Sub: Mental Torture. Harassment and Humiliation meted out to Senior Citizens defying the lofty claim of the Government on functioning of District Consumer Forum

Respected Sir(s)
It is implored upon your kind office to please take note of the following:-
1. That the petitioner is a senior law abiding citizen of about 80 years having serious ailments and ex-Indian Army Official is having a dwelling agricultural unit located in the abbadi of Chattarpur i.e. 4, Link Road, DLF, Chattarpur, New Delhi-110030.
2. That the petitioner is a consumer as defined in section 2(1)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act, being the user of Electric Connection (meter) K NO.[protected]AP (Agriculture Purpose), installed at the abovesaid Farm House. It is pertinent to mention here that there were three other electric connections No.[protected]DL,[protected]DL and[protected]DL, in the names of son, wife and daughter of the petitioner respectively, on ‘AS IS WHERE IS BASIS’ for domestic use meant for servant quarters and residential use.
3. That the petitioner has been paying all the dues and demanded raised by the BSES and erstwhile *DESU’ and never defaulted on this score.
4. That the mental torture, agony and woes the petitioner started some time in March/April, 2003, when one of the officials of the Opposite party i.e. DESU and now BSES namely Sh. R.D. Sharma, J.E. wanted bribery of Rs. 10,000/- per month for the continuing the electricity supply of the aforesaid K Nos. The petitioner being an honest and law abiding citizen rebuked Sh. Sharma for raising his demand for illegal gratification. On refusal Sh. R. D. Sharma became vindictive and revengeful towards the petitioner and made his mind to teach a lesson to the petitioner by way of Hook or by crook.
5. That all of a sudden on 18/04/2003 without any notice and intimation the above official Sh. R. D. Sharma alongwith a Junior Engineer forcibly entered my premises and arbitrarily and illegally in a revengeful manner disconnected all the aforesaid connections installed there and took away the meters, cables. Having been informed by the petitioner’s servants of the atrocities and excesses committed by the officials, the petitioner begged them to wait but they deprived the petitioner of his right to live with dignitary and utter disregard to the petitioner’s age and profile. Furthermore, even the case of bribery was converted by BSES into a case of Direct Theft.
6. That on being approached by the petitioner to ascertain the reasons of the excesses, the petitioner was slapped with an exorbitant bill amounting to Rs.2,22,556/- and threatened that without depositing the bill on the next day i.e. 19/04/2003, electricity connection will not be restored, in addition was intimidated for a criminal case.
7. That petitioner finding no alternative was forced to deposit the said inflated bill of Rs. 2,22,556/- under protest and pressure because of his plants and fruit being trees were withering/dying without water.
8. That the petitioner has been running from pillar to post to get back his hard earned money and security deposit and for restorations of his Agriculture Meter and other K Nos but in vain and personally approached all the connected higher officials including Chief Minister but in vain. It is worth mentioning here that the electricity company continued to raise the bill even thereafter which the petitioner continued to pay.
9. That because of total apathy, callous, indifferent and unwillingness attitude on the part of the BSES (DESU) forced me to file a consumer complaint which was registered vide No.1643/2004 in the District Consumer Redressal Forum-II, Qutab Institutional, New Delhi titled as BALWANT SINGH V/S GM (Operations) BSES Rajdhani Power Limited which is still pending.
10. That case of the petitioner has not been decided by the District Consumer Forum till date, despite the fact that the petitioner never sought undue adjournment and every time by appearing in person pleaded before the Hon’ble Forum to decide the case seeing the age and long pending genuine case of the petitioner.
11. That none of the President/Members of the Consumer Forum have heeded to my request till date and further speak of the dereliction in exercise of their official-cum-judicial responsibilities.
12. That petitioner is not able to comprehend that why the Government has formed the District Forum for quick redressal, when it has taken almost 7 years to decide a small question of fact and pass the judgment.
13. Even the directions issued by National Consumer Redressal Commission vide Notification No. A-105/NCDRC/2005 dated 31/05/2005 for attending to the complaints of Senior citizens and the patients having serious ailments ON PRIORITY have been defied.



PRAYER
In view o/ the above, the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to order in its gracious wisdom:-
(i) And pass necessary directions to decide the the petitioner case and general directions to the District Consumer Forums to decide the pending cases in a time bound framework having regard to Senior citizens and for patients having serious ailments.
(ii) To impose penalty in case of non-compliance by the erring District Forum.
(iii) To pass necessary legal deterrent action against the wrongdoers, and
(iv) To pass any other order(s)/directions as deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the present petition.

Dryclening factory working c/o Ashok Aggarwal These factories are hampering the peace and law misuse of electricity in unauthorized workshop in residential area

This is a collective complaint by us the victims of these factories. Hoping to have a quick and strict action in this regard soon.
