Previously registering in NDNC(national do not call) was not possible. I had hoped after new system effective 10.02.2011 things will be ok. But still BSNL is sleeping. Registering by sms to 1909 is not accepted. Calls to 1909 from all BSNL mobile unfortunately connects to BSNL landline service. When asked about that they say that is problem in BSNL and has been remained since long time and can't say when will be rectified. All most every service providers except BSNL readied on 10th Feb 2011 for the new type of registry. But this state owned company's highly paid people are still inactive. Even after complaints no response has been got. Plaease do needful.
