i am using BSNL prepaid sim card in tn more than 4 years. this sim card
is registered in my friend name. He is working in M.P.(india ). now i want to
change the registration of sim in my name. so just i want to know the

The actual owner has to submit an affidavit stating that he doesn't have any objection in transfer of ownership and the new user has to fillin a customer agreement form for prepaid cellular connection. for this new user has to submit passport photo, address proof and ID proof to the BSNL office along with the said affidavit.

Get proof and if possible signature and photo of from the present person name and go to nearby bsnl customer service centre and give your proof and photo as well as old proof to change in your name.

I am using BSNL prepaid sim given by my employer since 2007. When I left the company in 2015, I requested the Employer to transfer sim in my name as it has become contact number for me every where. Employer agreed but this sim was in the name of other employee of the company. The owner and I contacted BSNL office Indore (M.P.) for transfer. But BSNL officers informed that transfer of name is possible only in blood relations.It is not understood why BSNL is not ready when other companies are doing it ? Neither it is loss to BSNL nor any threat to security. ID proof of both parties can be obtained before transfer. Otherwise I will have to opt for portability .How can it be done now ?
