[Resolved] BSNL. Hungama.com — Music on demand service activated and charged without my confirmation | |||
Dear Sir, I have been using BSNL broadband for the past 2 years. My BSNL landline number is[protected].Till now i was happy with the billing of BSNL. But last month i saw that an additional amount of Rs.135/- has been charged against MoD(Music on Demand). When enquired at exhange, they said its from bsnl.hungama.com . I am tottaly not aware of this service and i called up hungama.com customer service and understood that the service was not activated without my consent, neither i didnt get the activation details for the said servvice. I really dont know why i am suppose to pay for something which i havent subscribed. For the past one week, i am trying to escalate the issue with support.[protected]@hungama.com, but i am not getting a proper reply from them. It would be really appreciated if you can take an action on this , as i feel it really humialing (even though the amount is small). It really kills the reputation of BSNL. If i am not getting a proper respose from hungama, i will be forced to move this to consumer court and fight against this cheating. I want to have this issue sorted out without such hassled. My telephone number is [protected]...Same problem here as well...MoD is activated without my knowledge and BSNL has not taken any confirmation from me to activate this...I am paying Rs149 extra for this service since last 6 months... there is no proper response from the customer service neither from the BSNL call centers...any time I call either the phone is not answered or there is no option for deactivating the MOD service...
I never expected that BSNL will cheat its customer so cheap...!!
Pls deactivate this service & refund the amount paid for this immediately or I may have to take help from consumer forum...

I contacted[protected] on 24/25 th Feb 2012 and lodged a complaint and requested to unsubscribe me from MOD plans. The staff at your end informed me that I have been unsubscribed from MOD and I will not be charged from the next month.
But to my utter shock, I have received my bill No.33489677 with debits for not only MOD and also for Movie On demand.
I kindly request you to refund the charges or credit it in my next Bill.
Kindly unsubscribe me from all MOD hungamas.

We should file a consumer case against them.

BSNL — CANCELLATION OF NUMBER WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION OR MY CONSENT
I am using BSNL telephone since last 20 years and paid my monthlybills well in time through ECS.
I had applied at Bhusari Ex Pune for shifting of Telephone to
MKII exchange Pune, in the Month of Jan 2012. Bhusari Exchange has taken necessary action in time.
I had contact your MKII office number of times (16th time on 23/05/2012).
I was asked to wait for one or the other reason. Some time reason of non-feasibility problem was told.
From Jan 12 till todate I have not been provided with telephone connection.I was constantly
perusing the matter with MKII. On 23/05/2012 I was given to understand that my telephone has been
cancelled and I will have to apply for telephone afresh. It is surprising as to how my connection
could be cancelled without my consent and information.
On being raised this question it was told that this happened due to software change. If in the
new software shifting cases are not being shown how it will reflect the outstanding dues
from consumers?
I am not convinced as to how my telephone connection was cancelled without
any intimation or my written consent.
