[Resolved]  Career Launcher — Non Refund of fees

I want to bring out an instance of the superb management being held by Career Launcher(Pune division).

Going by the name and fame of Career launcher, and its ability to guide me in building my future, I had taken admission in Career Launcher (F.C. Road Branch, Pune) for preparation for GMAT'10 exam .

• The fees paid for the same was Rs 23000 paid on 25-Feb-2010,however to my bad/good luck, I was asked by my company to travel onsite for some urgent work within a month of joining the classes.

• This was communicated to “Suruchi Pandit” who was the person of contact for me as she had enrolled me into the course. Even within the month of my tenure with Career Launcher, I couldn’t attend many classes because of the Project Work my company had assigned to me.

• After informing “Suruchi Pandit” as well as “Mr.Rajat“ that I had taken only a few classes and if Refund was possible, “Rajat “ advised me to return the un opened study material as this would help me getting my refund back.

• The Study material was returned and a formal mail for refund was sent to “Suruchi Pandit” which was as per her, the protocol for Refund.

• After the mail, the Pune branch people directed me to the Mumbai Branch as, as per them the Refunds are handled by mumbai branch folks. “Rajat” gave me the number of “Mr. Satish” who would take care of my refund.

• Regular calls and messages, mails and pings went un-answered by him who pretended to be busy even when my dad when in India tried calling him. the same was faced with a friend of mine who tried his level best to get through to “Mr. Satish” when I was Onsite. All we wanted was a status about the Refund but this Gentleman couldn’t spare a minute telling us for the same.

• Even when this Gentleman picked up the call, the very name of me when heard, he would hang up without even listening to the words that follow.

• Now it’s been 8 months since I have given a request for refund amount but they are not ready to refund my fees and they are just delaying and making excuses at Pune Branch. Frequent visits to the Pune Branch has also not helped me in any way as the same answers are given from different mouths.

What I had of Career Launcher was an academy which holds the potential to build an individual’s future, but this instance has changed the entire perception of Career Launcher for me as a mere “Money Making institute”.

I have nothing to lose more as my hard earned money is already circulating somewhere in your system, but surely had I continued with the classes, I would have certainly lost my Dream of making it into a good B-School, as now I can see what the Teachers really care about in CL, it’s all about “Money”!

I just hope no one else goes ahead with this perception of CL, thinking they will guide their future.
