[Resolved]  Carrier AC — NEW AC NOT WORKING

Hi,
I bought a Carrier DuraCool Plus Split AC on 16 July 2010 and it was delivered in my place without the GAS filled in a brand new outdoor unit.
The technician told that there might be a leak or gas must have not been filled in the unit and he refilled the gas and told to check for 3 months and now the AC is just running without any cooling effect.
Got the AC Gas filled in by Carrier Authorised service center - R.K.Services (Chennai) and I have told clearly that if i get another issue with the gas, the outdoor unit should be replaced with a new one.
NOTE: I need the outdoor unit to be replaced by Carrier Company if not I am forced to file a case in the consumer court. I would like the manager to please contact me at [protected] - Krishnan

I would like to inform you that I purchased a new Carrier AC 1.5 Ton from Reliance Retail Shipra mall Gaziabad, UP on 12th May 2011, which was installed on Saturday 14th of May and on Monday it stopped working. I called up Carrier Customer Care many times they told me that someone will reach within 24 hours . This happens in case when AC is old. I would like to know why this happened with Brand new AC and even after complaining I didnt get any response from Carrier. What the hell is it its been 2 days of Complaint.

I complained to Reliance call center but almost 2 days past but no action yet taken i requested them that there is a patient at my home and this is a new ac so plz send someone for repair but no one comes all the day i was waiting this is my vast experience with carrier and reliance they didt care about their customer next time i will never refer anyone to purchase Carrier cause they are not respecting the time and value of their customer.
I would like to request you to get it resolved asap because I also know how to react on this
This is a serious matter of bluffing a customer by selling defective AC and I will go to Consumer Forum

Hi Team,

My self this is Ram from Hyderabad, i have purchased an Carrier 1.2 Ton Cyclojet 5Start rated AC from Amazon on October-2017 after 2months later some kind of Bad smell is getting released from AC at starting and it the bad smell is continuing for some time
Regarding this issue i have raised an Requests from Carrier customer care for around 4 to 5 times and they tried to clean the mats and later again they changed the indoor coil but still the smell is coming and again they come and told that total unit itself should be changed it happened around 1 month back from that day i have not received any kind of response
Last week they told me like at present they have 3Star 2018 year which is equal to 5star 2017 and they shared me the picture which they are going to replace when i verified its is 1ton AC and again they are convincing me like 1ton 3start 2018 is equal to 1.2 ton 5star 2017 which is not valid point from then and so i rejected that offer and finally they told at present we have only that one available if not you can tell to customer care the same thing (which makes irresponsible words)

I have purchased around 5 ACs to my friends and Family and till now i have never faced this kind of issues, for the first time facing this issues and more over i trusted only Carrier AC among all ACs

Get pathetic service from carrier, there is no response from carrier support team and it’s higher authorities, we are opting an well-known brand like carrier that the support will be good and there will be no complaints with ac,

Hi,

I purchased carrier inverter 3 star AC barely a month ago. since then its not working properly and almost every alternate day a technician from the company standing at my door which is extremely uncomfortable.
we choose branded products for its quality and performance.
I have the worst experience and will certainly not recommend anyone.

It's a pathetic service by customer case nd service center...I logged a complain regarding cooling.engineer is saying we got a information fir service monthly service only.ther are realy ridicules.
