[Resolved]  Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Ltd — Not repairing a product under warranty for the past 1 month.

I bought a 2t a/c on 07/0811 (carrier) from kaydee, sec 18, noida (u. p.). it was very noisy to start with and the technician came and said that there was no problem with it. this year in the month of may, it stopped working. after repeated calls and complaints which took them 10 days to come, the technicians came and replaced the contactor and refilled the gas. left the screws open and left. we again put in a complaint ant again it took them a week to get back and put the screws back and told us the screws were making the noise in the airconditioner. after 2 days the ac again stopped working. the compressor again wouldnt start up. and since 29 days we have been complaining, talked directly to the kaydee showroom people also and nothing has been done. two technicians have come. we've got their cell numbers, they know the problem but nobody seems to be interested in fixing it. after every 7-10 days, the carrier company telecallers change the complaint no. even though the complaint is one month old. inspite of talking to them and putting in the same complaint for the 29 days, nothing has been done. isnt this harrassment on the part of the company? in a weather like this, when we cannot run the ac and inspite of repeated calls, wastage of time - is it fair on the comany's part? the charm of buying a new air conditioner has just gone down the drain. i dont think anybody should go in for a carrier product when their products are of such inferior quality and their service is so bad. (complaint no. last changed and registered on 7th july ghz618 - still not been resolve - today is 17th july) tecnicians representing kaydee are akhil and imran who know the problem and have done nothing inspite of having chkd the unit. (their cell nos. [protected] and [protected] imran). i have the original copy of the bill proving that the unit is still under warranty. have spoken to the manager varun of the call center taking complaints for carrier. no. of telecallers like - chanda, somesh, kalpana, mahesh and many more have been told abt the prblm but nothing has been done so far. kindly guide us to go about this problem..

carrier — Received a Different Product

I bought a Carrier Dura kool Ac in Vasanth & Co velachery, chennai,
But i received Carrier Durakool during Delivery, at that time i was not in home,so my family members dont know about the difference, when i ask the dealer he is saying both are same, at least i ask for Price discopunt he is saying both are same price.

Please help in this regard.

carrier — Not providing warranty

Dear Sir/ Madam

I had purchased an Air Conditioner from the Show Room of Carrier near Frazer Patna, Bihar. The month must be July or August of 2009. Unfortunately the motor fan of AC was bitten by the rats so that I had complained the same to the carrier company on there toll free number as the AC was under warranty period. But they did not responded for a long time. During that period I had complained again and again after some sort of period the company called me and told me to pay for the destroyed stuff. All the story is going for a period of more than two months.

So therefore you are kindly requested to help me and consider upon my problem sympathetically.

Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Ltd — After sales service sucks

I have got a Estrella window AC and it has stopped working 3 weeks back. The unit is still under warranty. So a technician came along and happily said that the PCB need to be replaced and they will get it from Gurgaon. Its been three weeks after that and every time I hear its either coming or the technician is busy and will come down tomorrow. They have such lousy customer service that you wonder why they even care to give this 1 year warranty, when their staff makes sure the customers never get proper customer service.
Well one thing is for sure, I will pass this word around that it doesn't make sense to pay premium price to get such crappy product which breaks down within 1 year and after sales service is simply the WORST!!

Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Ltd — Faulty 1 Ton A/C unit Estrella

Purchased an Estrella 1 Ton in April 2009. Since then the fan unit has been making very heavy noise. The dealer says Carrier needs to repair with replacement of spare part, no response from Carrier. Dealer's after sales service is very bad and no responses during the warranty period.

I would not recommend Carrier products to any of my friends and also avoid purchasing any items from this dealer.

Total loss of money time and mental peace.

Carrier Company — Terrible After Sales Service

To the concerned,

I hold a Split AC of Carrier company purchased in the name of MR.D.L.Pandey.As per process there are 3 free maintainence service free,however,non of the after sales service officails called me for the same.The servicing was done only ONCE.

I had logged a complain on 29th of April for a leakage issue and i am unattended till 3rd May.There is the worst level of service a company can give.The customer service guys do not know the techincian to whom the case is forwarded and when will he attend the customer's complain.I fail to understand the need for a service unit when the basic question of the customer is not heared.

I would never in my life recomend A Carrier Product to my close once.

carrier — AC not working since last 6 months

Dear Sirs ,

Even after your personal intervene the repairing people came on 19th Night. Enclosed are the pictures of working of the people.

1 Two PC boards were changed twice and still AC is not cooling.
2The swing function of AC is not working .
3 The AC is still not cooling.
4 The remote controller which has come back seems to be years old.

I hope you will understand that a customer is not bound to take the responsibilities of manufacturing fault.Your this unit has become a unit of R&D .

We hereby request you that considering the manufacturing defect in the air conditioner , our unit should be replaced as it is not working since last more then 6 months

We are here by requesting you to place consider the facts and get our unit replaced otherwise we will be asking our legal advisor who is given the copy of this mail to give you a legal notice for the giving
you the legal notice for the mental harassment, inconvenience and the expenses we have encored for your this unit and still the unit is not working .

Please also note as committed by you on phone no one from Ghaziabad has visited us to see our problem.

Please consider our inconvenience and the need of the equipment when my husband is bed ridden since December.

WE WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE A THIRD PARTY INSPECTION AND ARE READY TO BEAR COST IF THE REPORT IS AGAINST OUR DEMAND OF 100% REPLACEMENT O[censored]NIT.
