sir,
i've applied for AIEEE 2008 exam and i got a seat in Tezpur university in computer science and engineering, through main counselling which was held at iit Guwahati.[my roll no. 25000072 and Application form no. 0946341 and AIR. 92965]
I havent recieved the refund yet and recently central counselling board has put up a list of candidates to who refund was made.But my name was not there.
I'd also applied for vacant seat counselling and i didnt get the refund for vacant seat counselling for this to.
i've paid Rs. 5, 000 in main counselling and Rs. 5, 000 in vacant seat counselling

My sister have applied for AIEEE 2009 exam and she got the approval for counselling to architecture. But on filling the choicefilling page and when we press the "Save and Continue button" it shows an error message like "Your choices have been saved successfully.Please click Save & Continue Button after a specific Interval" How it shows like this? What is the actual problem? How can I finish the procedure? Pls give me a solution

sir, my friend have got rank 9728 and he had applied for central conselling by online by locking proccess for no of college before june 24 2009.But when he gone for conselling today i.e 1 st july when he given the roll no: it is showing a message that you have not locked the choice for central conselling, what should we do now .His there any other way for us to get seat in aieee. please please do needfull help

Subject: Faulty admission process causing harassment.
I secured an eligible all India rank in AIEEE, to apply for the colleges coming under central Counseling. I was very keen to take admission through AIEEE counseling. However during the process of locking which was done on 28th June 2009, when I locked my choices, it did not give me the unique code and the system application did not prompt for a print out option. I tried it several times, but the application was logging out automatically. The time when I logged was between 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Due to this my options were not locked properly and as a result I came to know on 30th June that I am not eligible for Central Counseling. I inquired on this no.: 08702459191, they were unable to help me on this and asked me to call on the following numbers: 08702462022 & 08702462023. Both the numbers were not available through out the day. I fail to understand the point to give such numbers when the numbers are not functional.
On the day of counseling which is today, July 1, 2009 I was denied seat allotment because of the non availability of print out of the reference sheet.
With the rank that I have secured and other eligibility criteria, I satisfy to get admission in colleges under Central Counseling of AIEEE. Denying me admission because of a technical error which occurred at a particular point will waste my one academic year. I want to ask how many homes in our country has PCs at their home with internet connection and how many can access internet from cafes?
If I have given the entrance test, cleared it and also if I am eligible to apply to colleges under Central counseling of AIEEE, then why just because of a technical fault my admission is scrapped all together? Is it actually justified when year after seats are not filled and students like me are not getting admission for such stupid reasons. What is the point of taking an entrance test?
This step will not let me pursue my career as an engineer instead of qualifying the entrance. And the mental trauma of denying admission in spite of qualifying is an add - on.
Therefore, I would like to bring such matters into light, which not only cause harassment to the students, but also put a question mark on their career. Further, I seek help to bring such issues in public so that they don’t cause mental torture to students like me. If we can not rectify such process, we even don’t have right to speak about bright education system or non-workable efforts to improve Indian education.
I’m personally very depressed after this and clueless about how would I or where would I take admission. I hope to get a help.

I totally agree to the above, even I have come across a few cases from my acquintances of improper locking!! It surely is a system error on the part of AIEEE which is causing harrassment to the applicants. Why would be a student not interested in taking admission in spite of qualifying for it. It is a utter irresponsibilty on the part of AIEEE authorities and they should immediately come up with some solutions. They just can't play with student's future due to such technical negligence.
I hope students get justice through this consumer complaint forum.

Hi Users,
I am contemplating legal action against CCB. As you know it is very costly I need few people to support the case. It is very likely that the outcome will be in our favor. The process will also be swift because it is related to admissions which has to done in a given time frame. Interested persons kindly mail me.
Don't succumb to this high handedness of CCB. We can fight and triumph.
