[Resolved]  Chevrolet Beat — Non Delivery of Chevrolet Beat

I have booked BEAT LT on 9th of jan at K.C MOTOTS Srinager, wd full paymentOF Rs 4.20 lacs incl car insurance and was told car will be delivered after 15-20days, but till[protected], i am being miss guided by sales in charges, the GM on one hand claims it has sold 2825 units till end of Jan-2010, but on other side, i am told still 20-25 days are required for its arrival, were does the sold cars then go, it seems that K.C is selling its quota in black market, this is cheating wd customers, i will approach consumer court if K.C will not explain its position. it seems K.C. motors is total fraud, and a cheater ajency as they are not now attending phone calls too. This is the service of G.M before delivery of vehicle, wt will be after, for its services.?

I was decived at K.C.Motors Srinager by their booking executive, when she told me that Beat LT will be delivered after 20 days, ibooked on 9th jan with Rs30000 and then iwas asked to deposit the balance pay ment including car insurance, i did so on 27th of jan & deposited more 3.90 lacs, but so for as on[protected] no car was deliverd to me, nor are, they now properly responding my phone calls too, i had complainted the customer cell of G.M Moters at Haryana too, same is the case with the company as that of their dealers, any how it speaks about the performance of company & its dealers how they manage their business of cheating. it seems, it is totaly a fraud company

I have booked Chevrolet Beat on 2/01/2010 & paid advance of Rs.10, 000/- and paid the balance amount of Rs.25, 000/- towards full & final payment to Dealer,

I was promised the delivery of the vehicle on 09/02/2010, but i did not recieve it still, and they are saying, car will be Delieverd within a week without any commitment now but i am took DD of the full payment and i'm paying INTEREST rate that is started from 8th Feb and also i have paid DD Charge.
Because of such responce from dealler i am thinking to cancle the booking of car.

Booked LT green on 30 jan with 1 lac advance.promised to deliver within 15-20 days, I have still havnt recieved the car and no updates on how many more days it will take...why there is so much delay even when chevy can produce 200 units per day (spark+beat) from its factory???

i also booked Beat-LT Option on 21.1.2010 and was told that it would be delivered in 2 weeks. now they are saying that it's uncertain whether this model would be available, and so i have cancelled the car.

I have ordered from Pressanna Motors, Erode, TamilNadu on 25th Jan. They promised me 1-2 weeks.But still no signs of delivery. Dealer says THE PRODUCTION IS NOT EVEN STARTED FOR Option Pack..Planning for VW Polo as my Dealer would return my Deposit.

Booked Beat LT from S C Auto, Modi House, thane on 11th Janaury 2010, promised delivery in 15 days. Today is 26th February still they are not sure when they will deliver. I was following up with dealer regularly, they are saying you will get it on this date and that date. This is going on since last one and half month.I have paid 11000 RS. for booking and taken loan for 3 lakh Rs. I have already paid one EMI.
Now they are saying after 26th February If the excise is raised I will have to pay more for the car or you cancel the booking and pay the charges.

i had booked a red LT beat chevy from AAKASH MOTORS PONDICHERY ON THE 31/1/2010. Infact i was sent an engine number and chasis number after 15 days. On the day i went to collect my vehicle the dealers informed me that the car was alloted to someoone else in black. Please do not fall in the trap again with Mr.Raviprakash(team leader), Mr.Srinivasan venketesan(sales executive), Mr.Radhakrishnan(assistant sales manager) Mr.Soudhakar(MD) and Mr.Palanivel(proprietor). Chevrolet sales area manager responsible for pondichery is looking in to the matter seriously.

I booked Beats LT on the 19th of feb... They promised me a waiting time of 15 to 20 days which was fine..but with new budget and the rise in price for the vehicle, they are asking more money to be paid for the same Model... thats really illogical. This is how general Motors is going to treat there customers... then i am really sorry to say... GM you guys are not making a good impression on the indian market.
This is my first car and i was really exited to start with Chevy beat...but now i have to re-think.

I booked Beat LT on Jan 30th 2010 & full settelment on Feb 7th at Kropex Bangalore, the promising delivery date was before 3weeks after booking... but till now Ma fu... is yet to decide delivery date & new explosion to pay extara money due to budget rise, I curse GM...

I booked a BEAT with option on 19th of February 2010 with Sundaram Motors, Anna Salai, Chennai. I was told that minimum waiting period is 2 months, but they will try and deliver the car within 30 - 40 days. On these words I paid Rs.25, 000/- as advance payment towards booking. Now whenever I call the sales manager gives only one sentence "Your Car is not built yet, Sir".

After seeing similar complaints on this page and also on couple of other websites, now I'm afraid about my fate and i may have to rethink about my decision to go with Beat.

I had some respect for Sundaram and General Motors, which is now in shadows.

I made full cash payment on 19feb to aravali motors in gurgaon and even with a waiting of 1 month i managed to get the same day delivery. Mine was the first beat in india to be delivered the same day. So it's not the problem with Chevrolet or GM motors, its the dealer who are crooks. So pressurize the dealer no the car manufacturer to get better results. I made a full cash payment at around 12 in the afternoon and i drove away my beat at around 6pm, flat in 6 hours.

Throw Chevrolet out of India. Dont want such bad service companies in this country

I booked BEAT LT(o) model on 24th Jan 2010 at Kropex Bangalore and paid them 10000 on the same day.
But till date i haven't got any news of vehicle. They promised initially that vehicle will be delivered in 20-25 days as it is optional model but its really false. GM has lost its reputation like anything by making false commitments. The dealers are inturn fooling the consumers. Now the prices are raised and they are asking end user to pay the same and on the top of that they have really overbooked the vehicles. Even dealers are themselves suggesting to cancel the booking. They have really fooled people. I am planning to escalate the matter to GM top management. Have anyone got their top management email ids?

I am planning to buy a new Chevrolet Beat LT after reading all its reviews and complaints on different websites...m simply loving the product, but the only problem I found in Chevrolet is its dealers, which converting its happy customers to unhappy customers.
So my current concern is to find the best dealer to purchase my first car(Chevrolet Beat), so tht I will nt face any kind of pathetic experience and become happy to unhappy customer of Chevrolet.

I have participated in the launch contest of Chevy Beats. Have played it for 2 days on 1 & 2 Jan-10. After a few days I got a congratulatory mail saying I have won some merchandise. However, I have not received the gifts for a long time. I happended to visit the dealer in Hyderabad - Orange Motors & talked to him about it and he gave me the company person - Harish's number. I contacted him and he guided me to someone else in Company Marketing. Till date, after more than 7 months, I have received nothing.

I CONCLUDE THAT THE CONTESTS RUN BY CHEVY ARE ALL BOGUS AND FAKE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON SUCH CONTESTS.

Chevrolet Beat — Poor Average

We buy Chevrolet beat from Trumph Motor.The dealer said that car is giving average of minimum 15km/ltr...But our car giving average of 8km/lyr..The dealer from whom we buy car not take attention towards this matter.I am very regret with the poor service of the car.

I have purchased my car beat 1.2 LT from Dehradun on date 3/11/2010 n my car is providing an average of only 10KM/LTR and expecting it to be approx 15 and i am very disappointed with the performance of my car.

Dealers are pathetic in response. I bought Beat around 18 months back from S C Auto Thane, dealer has to still pay me the refund. sales rep which was handling my account has left now and there is no proper response from the dealer.

As everone is aware about the service, which is the only attractive feature which GM promises. But after couple of services, service center is asking me to pay 6k for service. Which was surprise to me, when i contacted GM, they said when you bought Beat there was no CPCU - I am not aware about all this, but dealer never informed me.
Overall Experience - Frustrating . I will suggest you don't go for Chevrolet Beat, there are better cars available in the market. Because if you can't trust the brand and company, then you cannot truct its product
