Query Regarding clearing my name from cibil

This is Alwin from Bangalore

This is to inform you that my name has been misused for loans without my knowledge in HDFC bank.
I am receiving strange calls from the same bank saying that my name is under defaulter list due to some credit card no with 5176521004038347 -outstanding bill amount of 3lakh. Calls are like threatening saying salary Account will be debited for the same. However, I have not been using any credit cards.

Please help me out clearing my name from CIBIL

Dear Alwin,

it is quite possible that your CIBIL record may be erroneously got updated. You need to log into CIBIL website and apply for a report. Once you get this, (may take 3-4 weeks) you need to analyse and find out where the problem is. Then you need to approach the banker that has made the updation and sort out.

You may also approach www.proventuredebtsolutions.com for resolutions. They handled a similar issue for my friend quite iffectively.
