[Resolved] Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd. — RECOVERY AGENTS ABUSING AND HARASSING PARENTS | |
I REQUESTED RECOVERY AGENTS TO CONTACT MY CELL NUMBER FOR PAYMENT, STILL THEY CALL MY HOME NUMBER AND TELL MY PARENTS, "PAIDAA KARNE KE PEHLE SOCHNE KAA THA, AISI AULAD KO PAIDAA KYON KIYA, TERI HI AULAD HAI YAA KAHI AUR SE LEKAR AAYA." AFTER VIEWING R.B.I. GUIDELINES, I REALISED THAT THEY ARE FOLLOWING UNETHICAL WAYS TO COLLECT DUES.I WENT TO THE POLICE STATION TO MAKE A COMPLAINT, THEY ARE TELLING ME, "PHONE UTHAANE KAA HI NAHIN, TOH GAALI SUNNI HI NAHIN PADEGI."PHONE DISCONNECT KARVAA DO.IS THIS WHAT LAW IS ALL ABOUT THAT EVEN THE POLICE MEN ARE AFRAID TO TAKE COMPLAINTS AND ACTION AGAINST SUCH INDIVIDUALS. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 3 MONTHS THAT EVEN CITI FINANCIAL MANAGER'S ARE NOT READY TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THEM. I MAKE A PAYMENT BEFORE 20TH OF EVERY MONTH.I AM LATE ON MY PAYMENTS FROM SEPTEMBER'2007 . I am facing the reverse problem after clearing the dues they are telling still there are outstanding, for which they are not sending any NOC

i have completed my Two Wheeler Loan (Loan Account No. 9693753) and applied for No Objection Certificate (NOC) before 5 months.
I have not received NOC by your end.

i took the 2 wheeler loan from citi finacial mumbai through a bajaj shop agent for 18 months installment .
i gave them 18 nos of chaques with the installement amount .
now they are encashing every month the amount but till now i have not been provided any documnet related to the loan sanctioned and the rate of interest .
agent has told me to contact with the branch but the citi financial has beeen closed since march 1 2008

with deep grief i have to write this mail to you regarding the GOONDAS you have appointed here in your office at Siliguri.
for over two months we are getting calls from your office asking for some Zaheer Alam.. we are a marwari business family and NO such identity is known to us or associated to us... this is the reply we have been giving all this while... but your DIRTY FILTHY people resort to threatening and abusing us to every extent.
your people are of fishy character and probably there is some association with the sanctioning of loan to this dubious person and your management here in Siliguri (west bengal).
we have this number on which your GOONDA calls since September 2005 and never had any person of the said name has been associated with us.
today when your representative resorted to abusing and warning us, we have finally lodged an FIR against your company and will be filing a case against your management soon.
please take due note of this and stop the harassment before we are forced to take further action.

at the out set let me introduce my self ritesh r shirke and I'm working for a TV news channel as a video journalist the reason behind writing to you for a strange thing I have come across recently, in the year 2005 I have taken loan from a bank(CITI FINANCE) which I cleared on time, but there's some fault from the manufacture at the time I purchase for which I inform the vendor that until unless you provide fresh set I will not release the payment which is fair I can't afford to buy TV set everyday .. Hi,
I have been getting calls from Citifinancial either for selling their products or reminders on paying my emi . I have made it very clear to their representatives that i am not interested in any such offers and if at all i need anything i will walk into the branch on my own . THeir representatives invariably call me on odd times and even on SUNDAYS despite me telling them not to do so . I have only subscribed to their meesage alert for emi payments that too which i have never defaulted . Their representative called KANCHAN who calls me at odd hours is either sick in her head or mentally disturbed who once even abused me on the phone . I have stored all the records of their calls (atleast 10 calls a day) and want to know how do i take this matter as i know that TRAI has some norms for pesky telecallers and fine them . I would like to take this matter to the consumer forum as no company should take consumers for a ride and abide by the rules set by the governing body.

for everbody who is being harassed by cititfinancial consumer finance private limited, i would like you all to please take the matter to consumer court and send them the summons, there is no point in pleading before them, fight for your justice !
