[Resolved]  City Limouzines — financial fraud

EOW of mumbai creates trouble in the business of city Limouzines India Ltd. after Supreme court Judgement in SLP(Criminal)No.3176 of 2008 Between State of Maharashtra versus Sayyed Mohammed Masood & Another, decided on[protected] by Justice S.B. Sinha & Deepak Verma.

Final Paras Of Judgement:

16. We have, however, no doubt in our mind that the Investigating Officer
shall conduct the investigation fairly and impartially and shall allow the
company to carry on its business without any hindrance whatsoever. If any
books of account or other documents are required, the Investigating Officer
subject to just exceptions may take the xerox copies thereof duly certified by
the accused as also an undertaking that, as and when called upon, they would
produce the said books of account in a court of law.

Subject to the aforementioned directions, the Investigating Officer
shall carry out the investigation in accordance with law.

17. We, therefore, are of the opinion that in the peculiar facts and
circumstances of this case and particularly in view of the materials which
have surfaced during investigation, the impugned judgment cannot be
sustained. It is set aside accordingly. The appeal is allowed with the
aforementioned directions.

City Limouzines — Check bounced

I deposited cheque of City limouzines and that have bounced, I visited the office and they said you deposited the cheque after 05 Sep and now on 07 ths story of has come on Zee TV about closing of the office. I do not know where to complaint and whom to contact, the office at Mittal Tower is closed.

I had invested in the scheme of City Limouzine however I recd a call from their Jaipur office not to depsit the cheques o Axsis Bank as their account has been seized by the government however there is no problem with the cheques of IDBI I had the chequeof IDBI therefore I deposited the same on 16 th Sept and the cheque bounced reason given by the bank insufficient funds WhenI went to there Jaipur office I found it closed and on enquiry it came to my knowlede that a case is pending with Mumbai high court and till the decision comes nothing can be done is it true or false can someone pls intimate me or any other information one has .Also what are the options available to all the investore . I think all the investors should unite and file a case .My mobile number is [protected]

hi.. Just some good news for brainless people who just panic and panic and hence delay whatever is happening... There is meeting on 14th and 15th of Oct for Mumbai in Wilson's .. Please see their official website for updates... Anyways I still in hope as I still trust this company

We are still waiting for responce from city office as we have got the SMS from them to not to deposit the cheque till 15th of Sept'09, as we have dropped and got bounced due to insufficient balance. even my deposit date was 3rd of Sept'09, we have heard for a meeting on 07 or 08 th oct '09. is it postponed or still confirmed..

so any once can help us.

I am investor with city limo for more than 6 years and I have full faith in this co. Know very well that my hard earned money as well as that of all other investors will not be duped. The company has been paying for all these years, and its because of some govt restrictions they r not able to clear the cheques as they say. Its because they r not in a position to transfer funds from their export divn a/c which they were doing for all these years. so, folks, dont worry, have patience, give them some time during these difficult conditions. anybody know upcoming interview in television regarding this comapny and i want to ask one quation that why this comapy change banks every time. I recved 1st chq from DBS BANK LTD than ABN AMRO than KOTAK MAHINDRA than IDBI BANK Than any other dont remember.
But why change banks.Even every bank want large sound party for depositing bulk amount and good transection also.

I've invested Rs 254000 (3 accounts) with City Limouzines and i was getting Rs 17100 per month but after only 3 months cheque have started to bounce.

the website is sayg wilson school!! where the hell is this school...!!in mumbai?? mind it ..it doesnt say wilson college!!
i think masood hs playd a new plan--so tht people r silent till he moves out of the country..earlier date ws 7th oct--now postponed ...no definite addressor time---also appealg for passport..
