[Resolved]  Cleartrip — No refund after cancellation of air-ticket

I booked 4 air ticket using ClearTrip from Ahmedabad to Delhi. The Trip id is:[protected].

The ticket clearly states that " This ticket is classified by ClearTrip as refundable".

However, when I cancelled the ticket, they informed me that this is a zero base fare ticket and can not be refunded.

Even after speaking to the ClearTrip customer care people 2 times, I was not given any refund.

This is clearly a harassment by this web site. I would never recommend anyone to use ClearTrip .

We are sorry to hear about your experience with Cleartrip.

Based on the records which we store, it can be concluded that the booking was made on a promotional fare (Rs.0/-) and the fare rules related to the same was clearly mentioned at the time of booking.

The booking was cancelled by you directly online wherein the fare rules are mentioned before cancellation.

This is what it states "In case of cancellation of zero base fare or promotional fare tickets, 100% of fare will be deducted/- per passenger per segment"
I booked train ticket through cleartrip delhi to mumbai in Jan 09. The journey wascancelled more than 24 hours before the journey and ticket deposit receipt obtained from the railways. Since then it has been a continuous state of emailing, STD calls from Delhi to Mumbai (I have probably spent more than the cost of the ticket) and total inefficiency and indifference on part of clear trip.
I have spoken a number of times to cleartrip train customer so called executives, Ravi Peters, Rachna, Pushpa, Shirley and many others. Cleartrip deserves an award of the top harrasment travel service in the world. The executives are poorly informed, cannot retrieve emails and documents and are only good at assuring to do the needful.
I happened to be in Mumbai and spoke to Shirley and Ravi Peters and asked for the Office address so that I could visit to check status. Both refused to give the address. Top executives must carry out a thorough overhaul. This is a fit case for consumer court.

Myself Amit chaudhary and i booked the ticket from delhi to ahmedabad on[protected]..After booking suddenly internet connection became down and i lost the contact. when i checked my account than the amount is deducted and i didn't get any ticket or any refund. plz do the needful as soon as possible

I booked a ticket for 08.01.10 Mumbai - Ahmedabad Spice Jet 21.30. Because I had a new Credit Card (BOB Card) I had to get it registered. But somehow I was unable to register it and so I gave up. But the next day I got a message on my mobile that Rs. 3017 which was the amount of flight ticket was used. I do not have any intimation about the ticket on my email address. I have to cancel that ticket but I don't have any information regarding the same. I am unable to call on any of your toll free numbers. Please help me to know how this amount is used from my card. Please get me refund of this amount as I do not have any ticket on hand.

ClearTrip — Money refund

I have booked ticket from ROURKELA to (CST) MUMBAI for 27.09.2009 in 3 tyre A/c on 02.08.2009. while booking it was in waiting list. Even on the date of journey also it was in waiting list and the same was cancelled automatically. However the amount not refunded to my Credit Card account till now. Please look into the matter.

ClearTrip — Error while booking and money not refunded yet

While booking a train ticket through Cleartrip, the ticket booking process was broke in between. This was done after the amount was deducted from my account.
I got a mail/msg from Cleartrip saying that the amount will be refunded within 24 hrs. But no response is received from Customer Support yet.
International flight ticket cancelled, trip id is [protected] PNR IS OMPFKB...not yet recieved my refund...how long will you take and what are the cancellation charges

adult and I cancelled the trips on 6march, 2011. I got the cancel confirmation for Trip ID [protected] 1.5 months ago and still I didnt received any money into my account. kindly refund the amount as early. thank you

How can you expect a refund from this cheat organization. And yes the cleartrip customer support, I tell you that is a pain. Instead of giving support when I was in vaccation they asked me for proofs about the issue I raised. And yes strongly agree with Ravinder regarding Cleartrip claiming the top award in harrasing passengers and deviate little while he told poorly informed, actually they are having no information. Even when they asked for proofs I guided them to navigate the cleartrip website and locate the point. Even the duty Manager was not able to go there and the supervisor to him started chatting with me without even knowing the issue. A horrible experience, never go for this site.
Same thing has happened to me also. Repeated reminder through Customer care and Emails have not received any response from the operators Cleartrip.

Reporting the matter to consumer Grievence Forum.
the cleartrip is like & i advice forward ur complaint to as many as media or websites like facebook etc. so that they know the power of a common man as i m doing

I was trying to book an air ticket from new delhi to bangalore on 16th of jan 2012 and on the company website it showed an offer booking at todays price at Rs. 3736 ( proof enclosed) on enquiry it to their executive to make me a booking at that amount i was said that it i need to pay Rs. 9126. Feels like cheated

i have cancalled the ticket refund amount is 5200 at 27may i did not got up to now
Due to an error in our names on an International ticket; Cleartrip wanted me to cancel our tickets and re-book even though the airline had no problem with the correction in the name.
All Cleartrip was interested in their cancellation fees, and a new ticket.

Even a complaint to the CEO got no response.
What a third rate organization.

So much for customer satisfaction.

I would never again use nor recomend using Cleartrip.

I wish consumers would check the reviews before booking online .
