Club Mahindra Holiday Resort looks good name but I had a worst experience . I had been called by one of the sales executive about lucarative offers which Mahindra Holiday resorts india is offering and had been to their center and awarded with a free Gift Voucher .
The story starts from here, when I wanted to avail that I came to know that you can avail this voucher only at the specified period, not on weekends and you have to apply three months in advance and they will confirm based on the availability which they will never do.
My only suggestion to the viewer here is that they are not transparent and consistent in their delivey so please be aware.
I would like to attach the mail exchange wich I had with them.

The same thing happened with me today. One of their executive called me today saying that i have won the tour package and i have to come with my spouse to collect the same. And the executive himself confirmed me that their are no charges that i have to pay for availing the offer. Then the executive said if you are still in doubt then do not carry wallet. The guy name was Himanshu( 9718570311). He asked me to visit 3rd floor of the West Side Mall, Rajouri Garden.
If everyone of us know they are fraud then why we are not doing anything to curb these practices.

Friends, lets understand how club mahindra earns their money:
1) They keep your money and earn interest
2) For RCI hotels, you have to pay extra
3) Annual maintenance charges which they ask you to pay each year is an OPEX (i.e. recurring cost year on year). This is not a fixed amount so that takes care of the annual inflation and price rise.
4) In a typical package (which 90% members take) you get 2 nights per year and normally when you plan your holidays then 2 nights are not sufficient.
5) The advance booking of hotel should be done ideally 4 weeks in advance but 90% of members have a very tentative office schedule and cannot plan till 7-10 days before vacations. So they never avail their membership.
6) The total membership is so much over-subscribed that 90% of members dont get their choice of dates or destination. So these members actually landup taking holidays on dates as per their own convenience in some NON-club mahindra hotel or destinations.
Please dont get fooled by these club mahindra fraud group. It is a well organised way to fool people.
Interestingly you all must have seen in your one-hour presentations how at the end of all such presentations a senior guy will walk-in to your table and RUDELY tell you 'this offer (freebies) is just available across the table, take it now or its gone'. The guy will deliberately act rude
so that you start feeling guilty that club mahindra is offering free holidays and in turn you are not obliging them.

what is the way to dispose off the Time share of Mohindras. I have now for 8 years, but never found time to take vacation.
But I am asked to pay the annual maintainance charges even if I did not utilize.

Club mahindra is a fraude company, one day when i was shopping in Big Bazaar, Noida one executive comes to me and request to fill a form, andsaid that I can win a trip from club mahindra free,
I filled the form and just very next day I got a call from sales executive that I have selected for 3 days 2 night free holiday package, just i have to come to their office and to received the gift coupen.
But when i reached there I really wonder that it was a damn sales presentation of about 1 hour, Offering some amazing offers, but not giving a single day to think about it,
At last after a long debate, he handed me a free holiday gift coupon, But when i tried to book my holiday, there is no space available for gift coupon holders.finally my coupon expired.
I came to know that i was duped by this fraud scheme, and I finally i wasted my Precious time.
Be Aware if you get any call from club mahindra, ...

There sales team is really horrible. They call you up in their office pretending you that you have won such an exciting offer. They try to grill you and put a pressure in such a way that if you don't sign the offer you will be full of guilt.
Thanks guys for making me aware about their strategy of giving this free coupon. I also tried availing that free gift voucher but could not get the room availability.
I had a big regard for this company but after this incident I lost the respect for this company.
They really suck :-(

Club Mahindra, I agree 100%.
Kindly request people NOT to take their membership.
Once you take it, you are gone.
I took their membership 1.5 years back, every month they charge my account for ECS. I have cancelled my membership, however they are still charging me for the same.
Somehow they are not ready to cancel my membership - already lost 45k, however I have no complaints about lost money (because its my stupidity that i lost it), however still they havent cancelled my membership which is quite irritating and disturbing.
It Sucks Big time! I strongly recommend people from joining Club mahindra. Service matters!!!

Complete Scam. Beware. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. HOTEL PRICES WILL BE CHEAPER THAN YOU THINK. This resort stuff is total non-sense.
Stay away from these guys. I have managed to accrue a huge vacation balance since I was unable to book any vacation. Always resorts are full!
And in school vacations all resorts have Purple Season. Guess what... they don't sell purple season anymore... so all you get is RED and you can supposedly book only 15 days in advance.. which never happens since all resorts are always full.
Stay away...stay far far away.

I am agreeing to the comments posted about Club Mahindra, and really surprised that non of their executives are serious on this issue. Such customer complaints are really taken very seriously and resolved on top most prority by any good governance.
Dear All, while going through the compliants I was feeling that as if I hv wriiten all these things since they were common to me too. I became the membership of club mahindra through the ad in news paper and was offered 8 air tickets and 3 days free holiday in any of their resort. Once I was denied availability in their moosurie resort but I kept trying and finally got confirmed free holiday as per my choice in munnar.
Now I had to also avail the free 8 air ticket offer from them which I am lucky that they could confirm on my last date of departure and the followup with them was almost 8-10 times every day. I was frusted with great anger but! I was after them for above.

Once I went to a petrol pump at Lucknow with my Wagnor car, and suddenly one lad came to me and told me to fill some paper related to club mahindra saying that you may get free gifts if you get selected by a lucky draw.I felt what is harm in filling that so I filled it.The next when i was on the way to allahabad from Lucknow I received a call from Divya from club Mahindra saying that you are selected for the free gifts and she told me to come back to lucknow and receive your gift voucher with your wife.I asked her what i ll get in.She told you will get a movie pass and one free accomodation in 5 star resorts at some specified places.I told her i ll come in my next visit.Few days later I went to Lucknow at club mahindra office with my wife and I met Nalini she told me that sir I ll take 1 hour for the presentation and then only you will get your gifts, I agreed and she started the whole marketing fundas without knowing that I myself too a marketing proffessional.Then she gave me a free accomadation voucher and when i asked about the movie ticket she told it is now out of stock you will get it soon by courier at your address.
After listening you all I am not going to call them even for the redeemtion of the free voucher and till today i have not recieved any kind of movie ticket.
CONCLUSION:Actually what club mahindra is doing, is kind of a marketing to attract the mob so they can make more registration.That day if i had gone on my 2 wheeler bike that lad never comes to me.they actually target the people who actually can spend lot of money in touring and holidays.This funda is quite untolrable.
WHAT CLUB MAHINDRA SHOULD DO:They should collect a group of people who really can be a part of it, after making some field work.Then conduct a presentation in that group and after presentation they must provide a momento named with club mahindra and provide some refreshments and a scheme chart for holidays and also give them a feedback form about the presentation, containing that In which month you can plan to go for holidays and tours and so on.
NEVER EVER DO A MARKETING ACTIVITIES WHICH CREATES DISSATISFACTION.BECAUSE FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION.

Yes Friends i agreed that Club Mahindra is a big cheater and give fake Free Holiday Certificate.
Instance was that i had been receipts a Free holiday Certificate on dt. 15-11-2009, and when i want to take benefit of that opportunity i login with detail on dated 15-1-10 then system shows that this certificate is expired. While certificate was valid for 6 months from the date of Issue.

There is no smoke without fire. I think there is something fishy. My parents also won a lottery ticket for 2 days and 3 nights in 11 destiantion. After reading the comments in forum, I feel reluctant to even go to their office. One request guys, ie please to enjoy with whatever you have rather running behind these kind of frauds. Mahindra Club lottery is not at all transparent. Govt. should take some initiative and curb these sort of fraud, however we as a common people should be a bit alert. Please look and read through everything which is free. We all know that in this world ony air is free, everything else you consume should be paid. Please beware of any freebies, especially when the sales executive calls you regularly. Please plan your leave and spend your hard earned money, rather running behind some freebies which creates a lot of doubts in your mind eveb after winning it.

I fully agree to all the comments posted above. Infact I was about to become their victim yesteday. But some how I managed to come out of it. It so happened that I received a call from one Ms Revathi from Club Mahindra office at Pune. She said that my son's name has been shortlisted for a free gift voucher to stay in specific Club Mahindra's Resorts.( Incidentally, my son had participated in a drawing competition held his school and organised by Club Mahindra. Actually, he is good at drawing, so I thought this might the prize for his drawing.) She informed me that I have to collect the free voucher from their resort located at Varca(Goa) and that there will be a small presentation about their holiday packages which is optional. She phoned me atleast 3-4 times on that day and told me that I have to collect it today only.
Finally i decided to go there to collect the voucher.Club mahindra Varca is around 25 kms from my residence.I went there in late evenings with my family. I noticed two couples handled by 2 young gentlemen inside a well illumunated room. Both the couples seemed to be under tremendous pressure.
One Mr. Lloyd made us to sit and started explaining us about their marketing plan. Infact, we had similar experience in the past. My wife was quite quick enough to tell him that we have just come here to collect the gift voucher and we have no time now to listen to his lecture. We assured him that we will come leisurely after couple of days to sit with him. We somehow managed to grab the free coupon with him and escaped from their unhurt. At that point of time we were thinking that we are the winmners. After coming home I read all the terns and conditions written overleaf of the voucher and got disturbed. I suspected some 'ghotala' in it. I thought of surfing the net for any reference to this problem and found that there are thousands who have been already trapped. This is a real cheating. These people should be taken to task. The best way is to bring media in the picture and expose these people. But I dont understand how a reputed company like Mahindra dare to do such things?

Recently I had been to Club Mahindra resort at Coorg with my wife and my daughter (20 months old). Checked in on 13th Feb & checked out at 15th Feb. I was there thanks to the free gift voucher.
I am writing this reviews after reading lots of bad experience from many sources. For me the experience was completely opposite. For me this was one of the best holiday and I will remember this for a long long time. Best part about this trip is they didn't charge a single rupee from us (expect for Rs 169/- for food, we had few pav bhajis & dosas). They made us feel very very special during our entire stay. Excellent support staffs. Not to mention about the facility. World class facilities with very high degree of maintaince.
I agree that getting the reservation from this free gift voucher is tough one. I had exchanged the e-mails 8-10 times and everytime the response was " No rooms are available for the dates you have requested". Finally I prepared a list of 20 options mentioning my preferences and got the confirmation. I have booked on mid november 2009 for Feb 13th & 14th 2010 stay.
So the strategy for free gift voucher is you need to plan much in advance probably 3 months before. I strongly believe this is fair considering there are not charging a single rupee for providing such a luxury accomodation for 2 nights 3 days to a couple. Also my suggestion will be to avoid having food there as it is very expensive.
