[Resolved]  Cochin Passport Office — delay in getting passport

I have applied for passport on 25th of February 2009 at District Passport Cell, Trichur, Kerala. Police Verification Done on 29th of February 2009 . Even After 55 days of the date of application, I don't get my passport .My Acknowledgement No.Z482197 .Please check it out the matter as early as possible. Hope you will do the needfull in the matter.

My brother V.M. Aboobacker had applied passports for his wife (Mrs. Sameera Backer), and son (Mohammed Shiyas), Veluthedathayil House, P.O. Chammanur, Trichur Dt., Police verification done and they received a notice to come to the Cochin Passport Office to collect the passports. My brother sent our nephew for the same and they asked my brother's wife and son to come.

As my brother is in U, .A.E. and Cochin Passport is very far and nobody to accompany them, pleast let me know my brother can authorize my nephew to collect their passports.

received a from the passport office stating that the as there was a mismatch in supporting proof for the date of

Birth .The date in passport and the School Certificate didn't match because of the clerical error happened in

the school .I went to the passport office, Trivandrum with the birth certificate (in Arabic as I was born in Sharjah, UAE) with its translation from an authorized personnel and submitted it with an application and submitted to the assistant passport officer and she promised me the delivery of passport within 3 days . Weeks passed and when i checked the status and still i am getting :

respected sir,
i am jaya staying at a place called loni near pune, today ie 2nd of july at 09.30am i called up at cochi passport office to get information regarding changing my name in the passport since my passport is issued by cochin passsport office. the person who attended phone at no [protected] was really irritated from the beginning and was using abusive language (bloody female). when i asked his name, he dropped the phone. when we called up again he attended the phone and shouting in the background. it was really annoying and disturbing.
I expect the culprit should be traced and given some lessons of mannerism.
i hope i get reply to this compliant at the earliest.

I agree with this if they applied for their passport and every inspection is over and they have not recevied their passport so what the passport office in kochi is doing please do something for these valued customer

I have applied for getting passport before 2 months. My application File No. is Z 182278. My husband who is working in Qatar has to undergo a surgery by middle of August and my presence is badly needed there.
