[Resolved]  Cochin Passport Office — Passport Not Received

I have applied for my passport in 2007oct 30.Still ihave not received my passport .Police clearance over at home .Before that I was in Banglore Still the verification is not over their .when ever we enquire they say that we have sent forms already for the varification . Now almost 1year over . please check it out what is the reason for not getting passport . Please do the needful as early as possible File no B 088881

I Nihla Abdul Gaffor passport renewal application No. COCC00332110 submitted my papers on the 29th of Jan 2010. I hold a valid visa in my expired passport. The confirmation from Dubai Counslate was received at the passport office - cochin, within 2-3 days of my application. I had done my Police verification from Munabam Police Station with PC Mr. Surendran. I had signed in all the papers and had given my ration card. I was informed from the passport office that I will be receiving my passport within 20 days and a maximum of 1 motnh.

Now that I was communicating with the RPO, she informed me that during my police verification I didn't submit any documents. But, I was only asked for my ration card as a document. I had booked my ticket for 20th of Feb 2010 to leave back to Dubai and had to postpone my trip due to the passport not been granted.

Now that I need to fly back on the 20th of March 2010 I humbly request the authorities to kindly issue my passport on the basis of confirmation from Dubai. I was also informed that my passport will be issued at the earliest as I hold a valid visa in my passport.

Kindly do the needful and expecting to hear from your end at the earliest.
