Re.: HDFC Card Account No: [protected]

Dear Sir,

I had already closed my above account with you on 9.9.2005 by making the final payment of my credit card account of Rs. 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand Only) on my above credit card account in pursuance to your settlement offer letter dated 8.9.2005 bearing No. W16247. (Copy of which is enclosed herewith).

Since closing my account after the settlement, I do not have your credit card and have not made use of it even once. Inspite of that you keep on asking me to pay my alleged dues to you. Recently I have received another letter from you dated 12.05.2008 showing the current balance of Rs. 27, 151.07/- and calling upon me to pay the same. I was shocked at your said letter as already my account was closed on 9.9.2005 in pursuance to your settlement offer letter dated 8.9.2005. When I had made the payment in full and final settlement of my credit card account. I do not understand how you can demand the amount of Rs. 27, 151.07/- or any other amount from me after I closed the account and have never used the card after making final settlement with you.

Please therefore withdraw your letter dated 12.5.2008 and stop demanding any payment from me otherwise I will have to take steps against your Company and Directors for nuisance and harassment to me.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,

JACKSON RODRIGUES
