[Resolved]  Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited — Customer Name in CIBIL Defaulter List inspite of having settled all dues.

Myself & my husband had applied for a home loan recently.

We were shocked to hear from the Banks (Standard Chartered Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Finance, Barclays Bank & Citibank) that both of our names are listed in the Defaulter List of CIBIL.

We have paid and settled all our dues till date and have the settlement letters from the concerned financial Institutions & Bank on their letter head that the full & final settlement has been done and there are no dues pending from our end.

We do not know which Financial Institution has reported our name in the defaulter list.

This is utmost unfair for a customer who is sincere and has settled all the dues and has never defaulted in any way.

We have never received any information from CIBIL asking for a confirmation if the name of a customer is listed in defaulter list whether is it correct?

We seek justice to get our names removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect. We are ready to give all the proof and settlement letters issued by the concerned Financial Institutions provioded we are given the details of the same.

Please help us.

Looking forward to a suitable action at the earliest form your end.

Regards

Hello,

I have taken personal loan from Reliance capital and Ing vysya bank. At present I am not in a position to pay this amount. They put pressure on me saying that, information will be forwarded to CIBIL.

Wiselin
i hereby give on comment that their is multiple complaint and their is no solution. because higher authorities compare innocent people which really in trouble and do not make the payment they also suffer in the same case like the defaulters doing. defaulters utilise the money and their intention is very clear they do not want to make the payment. in both the cases higher authorities can help the innocent people to solve their problem or the higher authority may call the person and find the things where the person stuck.

but naturally we donot want to solve the problems, but we are hereby come together to create the problems.

thanks

Respected Members,

As a consumer, I am not well verse with the methodologies and functionality of CIBIL. Upon enquiring with any bank, they do not provide sufficient information, so that, we as a consumer, also should have complete idea about one an individual's profile will be affected if they fail to make credit card/loan payments for a MONTH.

I failed to make 2 months payment for credit card, upon which, my issuing credit card bank (HDFC), seized my savings a/c (of the same bank) and withdrew all the money which was there, roughly around 25, 000. They told me that the Bank has the right to do this. I have paid much more than my card usage (around 12, 000) and still they show the balance amount to be paid as Rs, 25715 which I feel should never be the case.

Now, I 'm in desperate need of a persnal loan and my application got rejected from several banks as I am a defaulter and listed in CIBIL. Even the HDFC bank employees are of no help to furnish me with information as to how should I remove my name from CIBIL.

Requesting you to please guide me and help me to get out of this horrendous situation.

To,

I was surprised rather shocked to hear from the DHFL a housing finance institution, that my name is listed in the Defaulter List of CIBIL as WilfulDefaulter when I approached for a mortgage loan with them.

To put forth the record straight, I recollect that I had taken a credit card from Axis Bank under Card No: [protected] with a limit of Rs.51, 000/- The Credit card account reflected an outstanding of Rs.33, 763.94 as on 26/09/2008. As I met with an accident, there were constraint to make payment and thus under my request, the Bank as a special case agreed to accept an amount of Rs.15, 702/- towards the full and final settlement of my card, thereby waived Rs.18, 062/-

You may agree with me that this does not amount to Wilfuldefaulter status to be mentioned in CIBIL

I have paid and settled the dues and have the settlement letters from the concerned Bank on their letter head that the full & final settlement has been done and there are no dues pending from myend.

I earnestly request you to get my name removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect which will enable me to proceed further in obtaining loan. We are ready to give all the proof and settlement letters issued by the concerned Bank provided the informations are called for.

Please come to my rescue.

Looking forward to a positive action at the earliest form your end and a favourable reply from your end.
