[Resolved]  Croma Retail — Poor Customer Service

This is in response to the rather lousy service I have been facing over the past 2-3 days from the AC dept at the Croma Bandra branch. Infact last week itself i had purchased a Sony Home theatre from the same outlet. I had visited the store on Sunday and wished to go in for the Onida 1.5 ton split AC, the salesperson told me there would be a site inspection on Tues, yet till tday no ones bothered to come. Today Ive made almost 6 calls and the people keep saying 1/2 an hr, 1 hr.

i have facing technical fault in my tata croma AC green life since last 5-6 days, i have already raised my complaint but still not receiveing any response from service provider than i again call to customer care but they also not ready to provide any satisfactory reply or solution,

Kindly advise on the same, if i am not receiving any solution with an a day, than i will go to consumer court .

i had purchased IPHONE 5S on 24.05.2014 from CROMA Store Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore bearing Invoice No. SLF02A[protected].

I had just used it for about a weeks time, where i found the following issue
for which i went personally to CROMA Store handed over the entire box including all the accessories for which i had received an Acknowledgement Note MEP 78008 and Gate Pass No. 698 dt 04.06.2014.

Issues
1. Phone Hanging where i could not receive call or either make calls.
2. some times it is used restart by itself.
3. Every 10 to 15 minutes i had to power-off and power-on to make calls.

These issues where also shown to the CROMA Store Manager.

I had requested the CROMA Store manager for replacing the Product bearing IME No. [protected] for which i got a reply that it would be sent to the service centre for servicing and to keep the same under observation.

i received a call from CROMA Store to pick up the iphone as it was serviced and as per CROMA Store manager that the issue is rectified. I picked up the phone from the Store, to my surprise within half hour I found the same issue again.

I again went to the CROMA Store and told the problem and requested to change the product or return back my money. I am not satisfied with the product and every time i cannot switch-off and switch-on and it is ridiculous to do so. I bought the iphone thinking that the product is good, but again the store manager requested that he would get a replacement of the product. Around evening on 07th June i received a call from your service center saying that the product cannot be replaced and i was asked to come to service center. The question is why should i come and if the product is not working the way it has to then as a customer i have every right to get back what ever i had paid, i feel i am being betrayed and I hear from CROMA Store manager that the money cannot be returned back as there is no such policy, i beg to differ with this as the product is faulty and now i am not satisfied i would request you to please return the Money.

I think there is a policy around the world that if your are not satisfied with the product after using it for about weeks time and the product is returned without any damages i am entitled and right to get back my MONEY. i nevery expected this kind of a service from Apple corp.

If the issue is not resolved i would take it up very seriously and i will be forced to take up a action. I cannot run around to your service center and CROMA Store for nothing, almost now for about 10 days i do not have a phone and my work is getting hampered which is a very serious concern.

On positive note i would request you to please return my money. I would also request you if you can share the escalation matrix so that i can keep your higher ups in the loop.

Both CROMA and APPLE are shifting blame on each other for not refunding the money. I have no option other then going consumer redressal fourm as i tried to get my money back n number of times which has gone on deaf ears. I went there looking at TATA BRAND NAME and i was disiullionsed. Fighting to get back my money
I bought an ac last year from croma saket branch.Its not running properly from last 30to 40 days. Icomplaint many time with my different-different phone nos. & also mailed the complain but there is no response.they are always excusing.Its a wrost side of Croma & I suggest all to dont buy any croma product. they cheated us.They told they use Hitachi's compressor.Fake company...

I have purchased S/W Maker, item serial number - 1sl CRK6061, the amount of Rs. 750.00/- on 31st May 2014 at Croma Velachery Chennai center. At the time I had a worst experience with CROMA shop. I have seen the above model at that shop and I like to purchase but sales person told me that product demo model only available, we don't have a fresh model.I requested to sales person please check at your store room but he said not available, after that I have checked with your person, when will expecting the same model stock, he said no sir, this model now stopped, so I disappointed at this time. I have no other option so I looked up to next model, all next type of models are available only Rs.1500/- and above rates so I am not able to go for higher purchase because I am budgeted person. That time I am stuck… so I have purchased the same basic demo model only.
Please let me know one thing how come sale demo model (Old) to customer, peoples are know very well the same demo model how many customers handled and checked whether the S/W maker it will workout or not.

If you don’t have a fresh pecice, CROMA have not suppose to sale and don't keep it in demo places.

Please give me clarity on this. i always believe only TATA products but here CROMA brand is 0% worth value.

I bought a new HTC 816 at Croma retail outlet ( below mentioned address) in bangalore on 27th July .

The very same day, I found to my surprise the front camera of the mobile was not working . As I had no time to go back, I went to Croma today ( 6th August)

After a 1 long hour of wait (Croma team was trying to fix) around 9.30 pm they said either I can directly give it in HTC. Or Croma can help me in sending it to HTC . Was Croma trying to do me a favour?

I have been put to lot of difficulty because of this issue, but the gentlemen in the customer service couldn't understand our concern and kept insisting that is just a small problem. Insensitive !

If the product is new and on the first days itself there is a defect, doesn't it mean that Croma has sold a defective product to me ? If that is the case why I need to accept such a defective product.

Croma was very keen in getting feedback form filled and to sell the extended warranty for my mobile .(during sales)
But when there is an issue, they talk SOP and policy . They don't even accept or understand the difficulty they put me through.( complete change in approach towards a customer ) . It's like while selling you commit everything on behalf of your product brands but if something goes wrong then Croma behaves like a third party.

Trusting the retail brand and with my previous experience i went to Croma, that was my mistake, I really regret.

The overall handling of this issue was pathetic and I seriously request an reply from a senior official for the difficulty that your have put me through.

Even when I ask for store manager contact details the staff at the outlet were very reluctant . This shows the real attitude and approach of customer service ( this is seriously a problem with the management) and definitely not the staff.


Looking for a quick response and a positive solution . I need the HTC. Phone to be replaced.
I purchased Croma 3G mobile on May 25, 2014. Since then I am fed up with the phone. Every day it hangs atleast 5-10 times and I need to take out the battery every time and then inserts and switch on. If somebody calls in emergency, it never gets. Then I visited Croma retail store in Radisson Blue hotel, Dwarka and explained the case to the person in mobile section. As per him, I formatted all the data and still the problem worsens. Frustrated, I again visited Croma store on 30th Aug (Sun) and gave the phone for service. The person at the service desk (Varun) promised me that I would get a call within 3 days, now it has already been more than 7 days, not a single person called me from Croma to update about me the status of my phone. Rather, I called their service centre more than thrice last week and every time I was told that "within 24 hrs our service representative will get in touch with you". I afraid Croma's 24 hrs means 24 days or 24 months??????? I still don't know whether they will service this mobile and return to me within this year???? I decided I will never buy any products from Croma in future. I recommend NOT to buy any Croma product. They are neither good for use nor good for service.

Had purchased 3 croma a/c's about a year back. And from the 2nd/3rd month on wards it has been one sad story. They have taken "giving misery" to another level. Their call centre execs as well as the people who handle their email have some robotic answers. Of the 3 a/c's, 2 have given problems every alternate month. The technicians are constant guests at our home. Gas has been filled about 8 times in the 2 a/c's in the past one year. One of the units had to be taken to the service center for investigation (the resolution of which took 15 days with a use of lot of lung power from my end). All these episodes within one year of purchase !!!. Sadly there is a deja vu ... I have made a complaint on 27/10 and it is yet to be resolved. Is somebody listening in Cro
i fully agree croma has the worst after sales service don't go on name of A TATA PRODUCT they better sell TRUCK ONLY.
I agree, Croma offers the worst customer service. If someone from their customer support team is viewing this post, I would request them to respond and connect with me offline. I have been escalating a case for the last three months and the issue has not been resolved.

Ordered two Sony headphones [mdr s40] looking at the good price.

Got the delivery on time.i thought it'll be a really good and an apt store. but I was SO WRONG. the headphones which were sent were SECOND HAND or used as a demo or had been lying in the open for months somewhere.

The box was broken, sponge was faded and dusty, the body all scratched up . and most surprising of all NO SEAL.

I had ordered two .one had everything the seal the looks and all, the other nothing as I mentioned .so clearly I could spot the fraud.

I have been calling the support for five days continuously, everytime they say sir no complaint has been registered I have forwarded it .in 24 hrs you'll get the reply. nothing they will do. BLOODY LIARS.

All BULL-CRAP.they have these lady support staff who sound as if everything will be all right. Wont do a thing, these thieves. Won't Connect to superior officers also ...COWARDS.!

After 10-15 Times these Support staff superiors. are becoming Rude as well AS IF THEY ARE DOING A FAVOUR FOR ME. Bloody Low-Class, Cheap, illiterates acting like an IAS officer, [Do Number Ki AUKAAT NAHI heh Bhikaario k pass] .


PLease don't think of saving money. I made a huge mistake.Better to pay a little more and stay safe. Stick to Established E-Commerce sites. I wanted to gift it to my sisters but couldn't.

CROMA is the WORST company...with regards to Quality and Customer Care.
I have Purchased a 28L Microwave in 2013, from Croma store at Kamlanagar, Delhi. The Microwave has developed some defect in the control panel buttons. Croma man visited after 1 month of complain. CC said the Spare part is not available with Croma, and left with a promise to repair/ replace as soon as possible. But no one has come back even after emailing and phone call.
This is happening since July 2015. no action yet.
This is waste of time and money to buy anything from CROMA.

Hi Everyone,
I’m Expressing my Unhappiness the Way Acer Deliver the new product.
Why I’m writing this mail, recently I had purchase an ACER Laptop, it was an month, but I found that booting problem, I visited croma many time found that our ACER Guys, who is Handling is not on Floor, I have visited many time, But there is no Response from them.
Once they Sales product they forget who are you, Any way that was an Month, Recently Again I had purchase an ACER Laptop from Croma, Found Defect peas it was less than 5 day, I found laptop Faulty, finally I called customer care regarding this I have requested that laptop is not workin g properly and found that wifi is not working.
Finally ACER Service Center guys had visited, DONE Trouble shoot an provide solution that Hardware issue.
It was less than 5 Day I had purchase, I’m requesting you that I need refund my Amount or I need fresh laptop.

मैंने दो साल पहले एक ६किलो की वाशिंगटन मशीन ली थी जो बीस हज़ार की ख़रीदी थी। उसकी पूरी बाडी गल गई अब कंस्टमर केयर वाले ४ साल की एक्स्टेंडेट वारंटी के बाद भी उसे बदलने के लिए ४-५हजार रु माँग रहे है। एसी बॉडी जो केवल दो साल चलती है। क्रोमा कंपनी की एक्स्टेंडेट वारंटी कोई गारंटी नहीं । कंस्टमर को बेवक़ूफ़ बना रही है। को भी क्रोमा से कुछ न ख़रीदे ।८ महीने वाले वाटर डिस्पंसर का टैप निकल गया उसको बनाने का चार्ज माँग रहे हैं कंपनी वाले। इससे अच्छी वीडियो कान वाशिंग मशीन थी जो ६५०० की थी और ८ साल से चल रही है। फिर भी टूटी नहीं ।
