Poor services
unexpecting poor service from crompton greaves called up to chennai branch last 3 weeks complient about ceiling fanwhich is in under warranty.but ther is no response from this service centre. so I suggested to my friends we have to think when we are trying to crompton greaves products.complient no 2300

it is really unexpecting poor service from crompton greaves. I am calling last 4 months to Pune branch complaining about ceiling fan which is in under warranty.but there is no response from this service centre. Every time they are giving assuarance that they r sending someone to check it... but no results.. so I suggested to my friends not to buy crompton greaves products.If no action will be taken with respect to this Complaint then i will have no choice but to go in consumer forum.

I had purchased a very costly ceiling fan model name- Jupiter. it is really unexpecting poor service from crompton greaves. moreover due to the poor product and service we hv purchased 10 Orient fans for our new office.

Even I am facing not only poor service issue from Crompton Greaves but even unethical practice. Their technician noted that the baldes of the ceiling fans need to be replaced and the fan is under warranty. To us he promised to return soon with new blades but on their side he closed the complaint. When afyer waiting for molre than a week, I called up Grompton Greaves call centre, even though they noted a fresh complaint for the same but even after that there is no response from that end.

I have purchased seven celling fans just last week. Today I have lodged complaint with the company and they promised thaeir technician will attend it within 24 hrs. I will wait till Monday tand than give my comments

I fully agree that crompton greaves service centers are not working inline fir custiomer benefits.
i also suffered a lot with this behavious. I ahve buyied the high speed crompton greaves fan and after 5 dyas the sound was coming out of the fan. I made a complaint for the problem bit till date the problem has not been resolved and always a good reason was made for the failure.
its really a bad experience to buy the crompton fan...'
i suggest to dont buy this fan...

I purchased a pedestrial fan in May 2006. It started not working in june 2009, I went to their so called authorised service centre M/s Bhardwaj Electrical workds, D-29, Sector-10, Noida and deposited the same vide their receipt no. 6937 dtd 27/6/09 they did not write the delivery date and promised to deliever the same after change of motor and gear box at my cost on 29/6/09 at 05.00 p.m. When I called them on tel.# 0120-4337513 they replied it is not repaired pls call us tomorrow and we will see rudely, when i called again they said dont call us we will only listen to you tomorrow.
What type of Authorised service centre is this???????? they are not concerned for customer satisfaction, why they give delivery dates which cant be met????????? Why they are so rude??????

Agree, the service is horrible. I think they are already out of competition world after they have had a long time goodwill in the market. May be because of their arrogance or because they do not have control over their branch offices. I have logged a complain and they have comitted to attend within 24 working hrs which actually means they work from 9.30am to 5.00pm in the evening and hence we have to wait for 3days after logging the complain. But, after 5th day also there is no response. I bought a celing fan from a retailer from Salt Lake City Kolkata and the warranty is for 2years and it is 3months now the fan has some problem for which I have logged the complain. Crompton Greaves according to me should be ruled out as products are bad and customer service is worst. Surprised how they still exist in the market...

i purchase 2nos. crompton lenon model ceeling fans from tilak nagar new delhi.after 7 days i complaint to customer care for extra sound in fans & not air flow in fans. customer care forword the complaint to service center in west delhi. service center mechanic visit to my home &ask me there is a air cutting sound & air flow poor for low quaility fan blades. i complaint to area manager also & 6 times to customer care new complaint but no responce from service center. so i request to all senior officer of crmpton greaves please solv my problem immidiatly.i am a middiel class family member. i not throw this fans in dustwin & purchase other fans. please do not ignore this message. (god is anywhere)

I purchased 2 ceiling FAN of Crmpton greaves high speed on 10th July, 2009.I started using same around 15th July, 2009 & same day one of them started giving noise.from 15th July, 2009 till yesterday i have raised 5 complaints for both FAN but all complaints closed at vendor level(Bansal Agro, laxmi nagar delhi).All complaints number are 0908004078, 0908002980, 0908002379, 0907012948 and 0907009355.Service center engineer & receptionist tried to close the complaint forcefully saying that we can not keep it open.I many times asked customer care representative to escalate it to next level or company engineer but everytime the assigned call to local vendor which closed it without resolution.as this is related to new FANS which are having manufacturing defect then why company is not taking it seriously.Too much bad service & customer harrassment from so big name Crompton Greaves.

I also purchased a remote controlled ceiling fan on 5th June 09.It did not work for a month.The delaer told us to contact service centre of company when told Remote does not work.Some one came and could not do anything.After repeated complaints the delaer Virmani electricals changed .But problems did not get solved and no one from Customer service even called up to enquire.
The fan keeps changing it ssped on its own and also responds to Remote of TV and A.C.Amazing technology.
PL.DONT EVEN THINK OF BUYING CROMPTON GREAVES FANS

I have puchased 6 ceiling fans from authorised dealer at Nerul Navi Mumbai in 2008. After two months one ceiling fan started giving loud noise at all speeds. Approached all concerened but no one attended. Some one gave 1800-409-505 as a copmlpint no but it is not in use.
pl tell me what to do. Pl help.

Facing same problem again not expecting this type of poor service from Crompton Greeves, logged problem CG109/9 on 12th sept. still the problem is unresolve after 1 month.

i too agree with that.. A crack on the plastic base ona wall mounting fan in 6 months.. ! when i called them they said plastic parts are not come under warranty

I have bought 3 fans to my net centre, (wall mounted) two years back. But with in one years i have sent it to service for four times. The Cromptom fans are getting problem now a days. Think before buy

Dear Manager,
I acknowledge my thanks for accepting my request for attending the repair of my iron box
serial no : GD-HGW 0655. Accordingly I gave it for repair at Mahalakshmi Servicing Agency at Visakhapatnam. I went twice to collect the iron box after 2 weeks I could not get it from the agency saying that it was not ready and it was delayed due to lack of spares. In the mean time I misplaced the service centres reciept. But he says that I cannot give without the reciept, therefore I am here with giving my purchase reciept from Madhavi electronics, Visakhapatnam on 15-09-2008. INVOICE NO: 1725.
Hence, I request you to inform the Service Agency to release the item with the proof of the reciept which we are having as an authenticity.

Thanks for the feedback on Crompton Ceiling fans. Like Usha & Khaitan & Polar they are layed back on the laurels of yesteryears with scant regard to customer service now. Dump the old and take in the new. Havells is best for fans, exhauts, ventilation, lighting, wiring, MCBs, etc.

Yes, I am also dis-heartened by the service of the agency appointed by Crompton. I recently bought a ceiling fan of Crompton Greeves 48", which is having a manufacturing fault. ( makes continuous noise ). It seems that the bearing is faulty. However, the service engineer came just to see the fan & could not fix the problem.
WHY CROMPTON GREEVES DOES NOT REPLACE THE FAULTY PRODUCT WHICH IS NEW AND UNDER WARRANTY.
SURE IN FUTURE I WILL NOT GO FOR ANY CROMPTON PRODUCT !
