[Resolved]  HP Pavilion Laptop — customer support centre spoilt and misused my computer

Following is an excerpt from the complaint sent to HP (no email available other than a complaint form) and tataindicombroadband.com. through my personal email id.

What appalls me is the apathy and the lack of any support on basis of which i can feel assured that the serious nature of my concern has been noted / taken care of.

I am therefore writing this with correspondence support - so that there is a written record of this complaint elsewhere other than the parties i have grievance against.

Kindly do advice what else I can do.

Dear concerned customer grievance officer in-charge,

My tataindicombroadband user-id [protected]@vsnl.net has been inactive
since the last two week or so.
I have lodged several complaints - so many times i have lost track...
you can look up the complaint numbers under my id... and the status as
per your so called 'service confirmation centre' where they keep
assuring me 'we've taken note and forwarded the complaint to rrelevant
authorities.'

Nothing happens.

And it is not the first time... every single time i have had a problem
with the connection, i have had to re-lodge it and then again. Your
assigned engineer of course even has the gall to tell me why do you
keep doing that!!

This latest complaint takes a rather serious turn however.
I have again since the very beginning requesting for a router for my
connection to your engineer and the area in-charge... I keep getting
various replies - it will cost xyz amount that randomly varies... or
then why dont you get a router and install it yourself?
Which finally I did - with the help of a local HP service centre
engineer since yours didnt deem to come by to supervise after assuring
that he would.
He did speak to the engineer from HP however and provided all the
necessary details.

What has occurred since then is a random series of
connection/disconnection activities for which i lodged the latest
complaint. Your helpline guy assures me the connection is in working
order... however when i try to log on, i cant and keep getting
errors. One of them reads - ' IP address conflict - Currently another
computer is using the same active IP address'.
Upon taking cue from Q & A forums online via another internet
connection I found out that my IP address has been seized by another
computer and is being re-routed. I suspect some one has changed some
settings to siphon off free internet access.

I am deeply aggrieved at the lack of response from your support system
time and again... this error could have been found out much earlier if
your so-called expert engineers landed to take care of the complaint
and tested why my internet access is blocked on my computer when it is
showing 'active' on your systems... instead of having an total
amateur like me having to struggle my way around to discover this.

As a concerned citizen I am tempted to lodge a complaint with the
consumer court and also an FIR with the police regarding this -
considering the appalling number of cyber crimes that are rampant
today but I would first like to give you a chance to rectify the
slight on your side.

If i dont find my grievance addressed within the next 24 hours(which
incidentally is a favorite quote i hear from your helpline number)
rest assured I will take the needful action.

i have not recived philips home theater .i have purches my leptop[protected].
tell me what is the problem. so send it as possible as soon
this is VII time we registred compalint. Your response is very bad.

I have purchase a HP-2612 A laser cartridge.
i HOPE B-82, OKHLA INDUSTRAIL AREA OWNER IS VERY POWER FULL SO RESULT OF THIS U NOT TAKE ANY ACTION BUT THIS LETTER IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.
IN LAST WE PURCHASE ALL CARTRIDGE IN HP DISTRIBUTOR VIKEL BUSINESS COR., JMD INFOTECH, & MODECARE ENTERPICES
But cartridge printing quality is very light .
We reach the B-82, Okhla Industrial area for replacement.
But this time we have no leter head so your customer service man Mr. Lalit/Mohd Shakib told pl. take a letter head . they proper cheque all things like cartride seal, Tonner ink quality & invoice.
after 2-3 day we again reached the HP replacement cell B-82, Okhla Ind. Area. In this time Mr Lalit told pl. take a bill copy of customer and also need the printer Number. they again cheque all things like cartride seal, Tonner ink quality & invoice.
After 3-4 days we gone again then they not check any thing they only told your cartridge is open. I request to why u call me again to again u clearly tell HP has done replace defective cartride. We have all light print outprint. This cartridge We supply the Jamia Millia Islamia University in IT Center It name Center of Information Technology Contact Person Person Mr. Nusrat Hussain.
They also take a action against HP.
We also provide all the Origianl Bill & other things.
We also supply the 20 Dat Drive 40 GB 6 is not working.
Mr. Lalit & Mr. Shakib told It is only work HP Server.
But 15 Dat Drive is working perfectly.
I also saw the one things when u pay money in B-82 service center your replacement work done properly other wise ????????
I have not only one customer facing this problem Pl. check the register 90% customer suffar the HP replacement cell.
Complaint is only formalty NO BODY TAKE ANY ACTION OF THIS COMPLAINT.
I ALSO SEND THIS MAIL COPY & PREVIOUS COPY OWN ADVOCATE.
FOR NEXT LEGAL ACTION.

I have already filed complaint thrugh complaint no CCHSAP19482, CCHSAP198825 & CCHSAP204866, unfortunately, HP team is not able to answer my solution of the same.

I have purchased My laptop, with free scheme of Digital camera in Oct 08, after doing online register of the same on time & followed up so many times through my complaint...NO SUPPORT from HP

This is to inform you that I dinesh Kumar purchased a Laptop Presario 500 Serial no CND7090N7N on 2007 with 2 year extended warranty of HP Care Pack..I am Not satisfy with the HP product & services provided by HP due to following reseasons and every time I faced harassment during services each time and the service center in Okhla not take the customer in well manner I don’t know where the mistake is going on at the end of dealer or service provider.

The Following points are explain my difficulties faced during services of my laptop.

In first Service: when I was taken my first service from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 of battery replacement and Scratch mark on my laptop due to Manufacturing fault of this laptop and they deny the problem and don’t give me services at that time and told this scratches is due to dust bust if any person is seen my laptop condition nobody can says it is dust scar and the Compaq impression are reflect in my keypad side. Slowly the impression is increasing and come on most of the part of the body.

In second Services: when I was taken my Second services from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 of Combo drive is not working and Same that scars on laptops but I was shocked the representative told me your CD Combo drive Serial no is not matched with the system and they argued with me but after long argument with the service center and because that existing product was under warranty any they repair that part but not take care that second complaint of scar due to manufacturing fault.

In Third Services: when I was taken my third services from RT Outsourcing services ltd A-200 Okhla Indl. Area Phase -1 New Delhi 110020 on dated 01/09/2009 token no : L-103 with case ID no. [protected] and I complaint for same scars problem increasing day by day in PC and the system is not open when the representative checks the problem and after that he announced me second time shocking news is that your hard disk serial no. is also not matched with the system again its shocking news for me. Mr. Kiran Kumar told me we take guarantee for services but they don’t give any warranty on replacement of hard disk due to serial no was not matched with the system

I am serious about this case because my laptop is under warranty and I am already purchased HP care pack with 2 year extended warranty

Question : I purchased this laptop from authorized services center ANNEX Computer Dwarka Sec.12. I saw only product not its parts serial no. and I think it is also not mendatory every customer should have Hardware engineers before purchase any kind of PC and Laptop from authorized service center any nobody knows which serial no parts is installed in this PC or Laptop. And when a customer taking services from any service center that he was harssed to purchase HP product because a if a person is investing amount in extended warranty by HP care Pack not for facing problem during services and think what is the benefits of HP care pack and he don’t know the serial parts no, installed in the laptops or PC and he wasted his time and he purchased a ticket of airlines and he supposed to travel in bus or any other third class train. “What is the benefit of that services I am afraid and harassed by HP product and services.”

Suggestion: Please mention on all service centers and authorized service center

“Customer should be hardware engineer and he is responsible for the part if serial no is not matched with the product during services” .


This is my humble request you to please take any kind of favourable action on my laptop scars problems and hard disk. If you don’t have any kind of prospective or positive response so I will take legal action towards your company.

this is my humble request you to please take a action on my laptop battery is not working properly.
it is work only 1 & 1.30hrs only.I told your service center in agra but he say sir u istall vista than we
check or battery status.sir he can't give me right ans. “What is the benefit of that services I am afraid
and harassed by HP product and services.”
