[Resolved] Delhi Jal Board — excessive water bill | |
22nd March 2010 To, The EXECUTIVE Engineer, Delhi Jal Board, Najafgarh. Sir/Madam, I am a resident of C-97, Dashrath Puri, Dabri. My water connection is in the name of Smt Meera Krishnamoorthi. We are only 4 people in the house and the monthly consumption is not more than 23-25 kilolitre in a month. As per the bill from 21-nov-2009 to 22-jan-2010, the metered unit is 122 kilolitres which comes around Rs. 1195. I believe that the the bill is exagerated because all our neighbours have got the bill in the range of Rs. 150-300 for the duration. As per the bill, the meter reading on 22-jan-2010 was 2253. On 21- March-2010 the reading is 2300 which is exactly 47 units for two months. This shows that the monthly consumption is in the range of 25 units only. I thereby request you to see into the matter and relieve us from the over-billing. Other details are given below. pls note that our water bill from july to sept 2014 is veryinflated our kno no is [protected] last ime for 8 mths it was 4000 . this time for less tan two it is3210 pls get the meter checked or check at your end because our water consumption is not so much

I Sujata Malhotra resident of G-29/31-32 top floor Sector-3, Rohini. I have received bill on 18th Feb 2015 of consumption 110kl and the bill is summed up to Rs.2015. Now on 5th May 2015 I hv received bill of Rs.4233 on consumption of 117kl. I reqst u to kindly get the bill checked as per consumption. We feel the bill is coming very overrated and inflated.kindly get them checked.

I have received a water bill of Rs 5760 which is for 1 month, i am very much surprised to see this excessive bill with K.no [protected]. I want you to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
