Wrong Information and follow up of Refund
One fine day without any over usage or indication the hard disk of the Inspiron 14 Laptop crashed. Did all the tests and everything but nothing could be worked. Laptop never started again. I did not wanted to loose the data. When i contacted the customer care they informed that I have to replace the Hard Disk. Well the next big news was that they do not have the exact replacement and I have to purchase a higher capacity hard disk, which surprisingly was cheaper then the lower HD. Well i ordered it on the spot and did the necessary payment on the spot. After that i tried my stunts on it and guess what, I was able to restore the laptop to factory settings. But, lost all data which was very sad. Well after mis guidance from them i had already purchased the HD. Then i cancelled it on the same day. It has been a good 2 months and i have still not received my Rs 6000/- refund back. I have done a million follow ups and what not to get the paper work in place. But every time there is a lapse from their end. Well now i am thinking to donate the money to them so that the company can survive, because if they continue doing like this then they will surely shut down soon in India at least. I wish i had this problem somewhere else where i could havee sued them for good. In India its so much relaxed with customer service. No more Dell from now on.
