Dell — Terrible customer service | |||
I have purchased Dell make laptop in Durgapur, West Bengal . The system started giving trouble and I have lodged complaint at Hyderabad where I was staying at the time of it’s failure. I have given a clear written instruction for the delivery of the ‘to be replaced system’ at my New Delhi address vide my Email message dated 8th october 2012. Inspite of my written instruction, the system was dispatched to Hyderabad where I am not residing anymore. Upon contacting Dell at Delhi during the period of 15th to 17th October’12, I was repeatedly assured that the system will be delivered by 20th positively at Delhi address. However, till date, the system is not delivered and upon enquiring, it is still lying at Hyderabad’s Bluedart office. Both Dell and Bluedart are every time confirming that in two / three days time the system will be delivered; however, just now got the information that the system will be dispatched by road which means it shall take many more days for delivering the same at my Delhi address. I am very sorry to say that no one at Dell takes responsibility in taking prompt action as our only means of communication is through phones and persons attending to the calls are totally reckless or may be that their communications with further staff are falling in deaf ears. I am appearing for important exams and every day is valuable for me and for last one month fed up talking to Dell. I don’t know when I will get my system and I am facing irreparable loss of time prior to my competitive exams. Was this information helpful? | |||
