Subscribed news paper not delivered
Hi,
I along with many friends in my company (Valtech India) had subscribed for the DNA Bangalore edition on 2nd September when they had opened a stall in our office premises. We were promised that DNA B'lore edition will be launched on October 15th 2008 and also we were assured that we will start getting the news paper from 15th October 2008 and till date there is no news from DNA. None of their contact options seem to be working. The contact number given by them is always busy. I managed to get 2 mobile numbers (9731588400/9986367508) of their Area Manager Tontudraya (not sure if i spelled correctly), but it is always switched off. The emails sent are also bouncing back.
Later I found that they have plans to launch the news paper some time during the last week of December. If that is the case why DNA is not informing us either individually or publish an advertisement in other popular news papers!? After taking the money well in advance, this is sheer cheating.

| yes. I have also subscribed for DNA.Their agent told me that from 1st Oct 2008 the news paper will be delivered.But I haven't got any information so for.Neither the paper is delivered nor i am intimated.This shows how cheap tactics those people are making. |

I have paid amount for one year subscription of DNA news paper on 03-Aug-2008..I tried to reach them through mails and phone, no response for my mails to their customer care mail id dnacsg@dnaindia.net and none of their contact numbers seem to be working..I was assured that I will get news paper daily to my premises from 1st of Oct '08..but till dated no response from DNA..if at all any delay in the launch, it has to be communicated to all their subscribers. I am confused and absolutely have no idea as what went wrong with DNA. |
| I had subscibed for the same and looks like they are taking their own sweet time to launch the newspaper in bangalore. If this the case then why are they giving false information the the customers and if so then why are they not informing about the same to every one. "This is not accceptable". I spoke to of their Area Manager and he says that due to some technical dificulties, the newspaper is not started yet. He says it may start from the 2nd week of december. |

If they are having plans for delaying the newspaper then they must atleast have the manners to attend the call if they are not able to inform us. This is real heights from them by giving wrong info and not following up. If samething would have happened in a different nation then their law would have seen to it that Bangalore DNA will be punished for this. I really need a answer from them on this. |

| I totally agree and disapprove the delay in the launch of the newspaper in bangalore. While subscribing the DNA guys were preety sure to collect the money by a stipulated date, the why is there no news of any stipulated date for the launch of the newpaper, instead they have kept all of us groping in the dark |

I am also one of the people in Bangalore who has subscribed to DNA through their website. I havent received any coupons nor any intimation from DNA as to their schedule. Their paper was supposed to start on OCt 15th, and nothing has happened till date. It looks very evident that all of us have been cheated by a leading new paper agency. Is there someway we can get our money back? Also, my email to their address - subscriptions@dnaindia.net has been returned claiming that their email box is full and email cannot be delivered. I am a senior citizen and regret subscribing to this newpaper.

The ad or hoarding now shows that paper will start from this December. What i felt is, atleast for the courtesy DNA Management should have intimated that there is brief delay through mail or a telephone call |

| I am also one of the BAKRA, who had subscribed for the DNA Bangalore edition on 2nd September when one of my neighbour had taken an appointment with the DNA Agent [Asif-9972305360] & introduced him if I needed subscription of DNA Newspaper. I saw the Mumbai edition of DNA Newspaper & found interesting & thought of subscribing for the same as the yearly subscription was too less. The agent told that DNA Blr edition would start on 1st October 2008. When I called him on 7th October, he told that the DNA B'lore edition will be launched on October 15th 2008 and also assured that we will start getting the news paper from 15th October 2008 and till date there is no news from DNA nor the Agent nor any ad/news in other popular newspapers. After taking the money well in advance, this is not good to cheat the public. |

I paid in advance the yearly subscription charges towards DNA newspaper, sometime in august end. These people now look like cheapos who take money beforehand and then disappear! |
| I have payed for 1 yr subscription of dna and they told us it will be mid of October and now we are here in the mid of november but no response from them I now feel you cannot even trust a newspaper. |

Yes, even i also subscribed to DNA .When is ubscriobed, they told that news paper will come in the month of October.Later hey postponed it to November .Now they are telling that it will ocme in the month of December.
I dont know still how many months we need to wait for that.
Who is manager of this DNA.we have to bang him.Why the hell he is postponing newspaper ?? |
| I also belong to category of cheated members /subscribers...I stay in Ejipura main Road..They even convinced on right time, right spot delivery, quality, sports coverage etc(due to their able salesmanship) and I unsubscribed TOI as i had to put up with everyday idiosyncrasies of news paper boy(TOI) often. he used to throw paper on wrong places.(what I call wrong spot delivery)..Moreover I was going home then ..thought I wud be getting fresh copies of newly launched DNA newspapers by the time I return from home(Sikkim/Darjeeling)...And till date I haven't heard from DNA. Wiating eagerly for DNA... |
