I forgot my wallet containing driving license at an ATM at PANCHKULA (Haryana).I want to lodge F.I.R for it.Its no.is OLA; PB-11 No.PB-11/7214/ NDL /06-07. and was issued on 20.12.2006 by DTO Patiala.

I lost my license and had recently applied for a duplicate license. Be aware of the Window Number - 4 at Ballabgarh Licensing authority where your documents are checked. The guy behind the window will charge you extra 100 ruppees if you and your name seems like a city person rather a villager. The amount wil be charged in the name of Red Cross Society's Donation. Many people don't argue because they need their license wihout any trouble. Its surprising that not so educated person at government post fool most of the educated once thats why everyone need a government job probably. Everyone knows of the low pay scale in police department but everyone wants to becaome one.
Consumer Complaints is an excellent effort. If nothing can be done against such person also than too once can be relieved by writing his/her consent and educating others to be careful in your turn..

yes you can get a duplicate license even if you don't have it's xerox copy. You just need to fill the duplicate license form alongwith self attested photograph, one affidavit, resident proof, FIR copy having Driving License's number.
You just need your DL number, issue date and expiry date.
