DTC Bus — Ticket Checkers Misbehaviour with Women | |||
Reg.: Complaint against the misbehaviour by ticket checkers with alone foreign lady travelling in the bus. The incident took place on 21/08/12 when my wife who is foreigner boarded the orange line Bus route no. 534 at Nehru place bus stop at 3.30 pm approximately. Because of the heavy rush in the bus before she was able to take tickets came the two ticket checkers who started speaking her very on not having tickets and tried to push her out asking to pay Rs. 200/-. She paid Rs. 200 and the receipt Ref. Delhi Transit Transit No. 38559 was given against that. Soon after these two tickets checkers left the bus the other 2 ticket checkers came and again started troubling, misbehaving and harassing her seeing her as foreign lady and asking money. However these two left the bus after being too much harassed when she started crying. I request the authorities to look into the matter and take appropriate action against the 2 ticket checkers.
