I had sent an important package from Faridabad (Delhi-NCR) to destination in Hyderabad
-Tracking number Z26625202.
The package was sent on July 11, 2014, but the intended recipient has not received the package till date.
I enquired DTDC helpline on July 18, 2014 on status of package - and response was that package has been returned - due incorrect address. I told that address is valid, and accordingly did send a address proof of the recipient to css.[protected]@dtdc.com
Here is the response from DTDC executive:
" Have a nice day said c/ment already rto fwd reason due to Door/office Closed ;shipment fwd to booking point so plz contact to booking point, "
I have 3 points -
1. Reason given for non-delivery is different on phone and on mail.
2. Why was I not informed before return of package ? My mobile number was mentioned.
3. I'm dealing with DTDC - why do I need to follow up with individual entities seperately - booking center, delivery center, delivery boy - shouldn't these matters be resolved internally by DTDC ?
This raises question if any sincere effort was even made to reach the destination address at all ?
And all through this, no attempt has been made to reach out to me - and the package is already delayed by 5 days from promised delivery time.
How does DTDC aims to resolve this service failure is also unclear from communication from their staff at booking center and call center

Cn # A31554975, sent from Jamnagar to Guwahati on 26th June. Package was not delivered. Dtdc office don't know where the package is.
