i've sent a courier (consignment no. V[protected] from Indore(M.P.) to my sister in Patna(Bihar) on her birthday (06/10/2010) through Dtdc plus service.
i was told that it will reach the next business day, that was 05/10/2010. It has not reached yet.
So i called Patna Dtdc office ([protected]) for enquiry, since i didn't any reply from sms tracking service of dtdc. i called him at around 3pm, i got a reply " i am having lunch, so message me your consignment no.". i waited for 2 hours but i didn't get any response. i called him back, he's tone was very rude, he said the consignment is not yet dispatched from kolkatta office, so i can't do anything. i told him that is not my responsibility where it has reached, it need to be delivered today as it was meant for the receiver's birthday. He said "I don't know anything, go and find out where the fault is if it is so urgent, and go and complain anywhere you want if it doesn't work"
Dtdc is a service based company atleast executives should have the the right behaviour towards their clients (atleast when they themselves are at fault) moreover the delayed consignments have become their daily rituals. Was this information helpful? |
