[Resolved]  DTDC — consignment not delivered

On the 25th of last month I has booked a consignment teh DTDC collection center at Jogeshwari-E (Phone:[protected] Contact: Ganesh / Yogesh / Anil / Madhuri) to a Bangalore address. Madhuri, the lady at the counter gave me the consignment note numbered M56917401.

Subsequently I came to know from the DTDC site that the consignment has been send to, of all places, Kolkatta! (on the 28th of Aug) It was obviously not delivered there for 'insufficient address'. It came back to Mumbai Apex office of DTDC at Goregoan on the 30th; was sent o Vile Parle Branch on the 1st of Sept; was kicked back to the Vile Parle Brach on the 2nd of sept. This much info is thereon the DTDC site for everyone to see.

Repeated emails to the CSS of these office and that to the main CSS id, have not yielded any satisfactory answer. I was given information that I could find out on the site. I dialed the CSS phone number for complaints[protected] in Mumbai. After umpteen attempts at connecting this number i was put on to an answering machine and was asked to leave a number so that someone calls me. I dd so, but no one called me for two days. After two days I finally got in touch with MR Sanjay who deals with such cases of consumer numbers starting from M. He provided me with the same information that was readily available to on on your dtdc site. Further, he asked me to contact the center where I had booked the consignment.

I therefore went back to Jogeshwari-e dtdc booking center and asked them to solve the issue. They pleaded ignorance of the matter, gave me the same details that was there on the net for everyone to see, took my number again and promised to revert back. They did not revert back. And to my dismay, that day they suggested that I talk to Sanjay, because he is the one in charge. Just as the consignment was being bounced between various DTDC offices, the responsibility of locating and sending the consignment to the correct address was also being bounced all over. Nobody was owning up and solving the issue.

Three days back when i called the jogeshwari- east collection center i was told that the consignment was sent to bangalore and it would take two days. Server down sir, was the jogeshwari east office's reply today. So, I called one Ms Vasundara from Vileparle branch (as suggested by phone executive DSouza) she rudely asked me to call up the jogeshwari east office for the follow up. Meanwhile I get a standard reply from the main CSS emial id, asking me for the consumer number. The consumer number was already mentioned in my complaint. The jogeshwari east once again took my number and promised me that they will revert. today is the 14th day since i booked the consignment. And it has not yet reached its destination.
No one is prepared to tell me where it is

Please urgently answer my few questions

1. Why was the consignment sent to Kolkatta in the first place, where as I has clearly written the Bangalore address on the consignment?
2. Who is responsible for it?
3. Why is the consignment being shifted from one DTDC office to another in mumbai since the 30th of last month?
4. When will the consignment go to Bangalore, the place where it is supposed to go?
5. Why an I made to call all offices . email all office - in a cat and mouse game to track my consignment?

Today is the 13th day since I booked the consignment to Bangalore. If DTDC is incapable of delivering a simple consignment booked from Mumbai to Bangalore, i request you to give me back the same, so that I can send it by other service provider.

I always thought DTDC was professional enough in its dealings. This view has been shattered now with this experience.

I urge you to take notice of this email and solve the matter urgently.

Please must take a step against this.

I have not received consignment . The man came named Dharmendra without intimation despite Mob no mentioned with them, premised locked found. I request him to come next day.He Rudely spoken without giving me docket no and company who sent parcle. Next day i asked to deliver consignment. he talked naunsence and give me address of DTDC and asked me to go and collect your consignment.


I am very much upset with their behaviour.

Consignment no A29348919 sent from junagadh on 02/08/14 to hyderabad. as per online tracking it reached to hyderabad on 4th and out for delivery on 6th. After that nobody knows where it is. I called more tha 20 numbers, more than 100 calls in past three days but proper response. I started mail to all dtdc mail ids. After much pressure, DTDC offered me to purchase rakhi and give it me (Its irresponsible behaviour by DTDC). After that they attempt to give fake courier which I didnt accepted. (I was having a photo which was sent to me). Its more frustating when their office persons staff says they have so many consignments and i am not the only customer.

Dear Sir,
I have opted for DTDC courier service for dispatching materials. Consignment nos. D17986351 dated 01/07/2014 & D18383357 dated 23/7/2014 sent from Ranchi to Anand, Gujarat have not delivered. Those are very important materials for research purpose and the result of the loss would be priceless. Even after repeated contact with DTDC, Ranchi office, cooperation is very less and the behaviour of DTDC staffs (Ranchi, Baroda, Anand) are pathetic.
Kindly arrange to resolve the issue.

The above consignment was booked on 31.07.14 at Perundurai (Tamil Nadu) to Ranchi (Jharkand) but still the consignment was not delivered at right location but the status is showing delivered.I asked proof of delivery for that but they not reday to give.I tried at Ranchi office & booking office also they not responding.What is the solution for this issue?

Consignment no. K74898776, is not delivered and the DTDC franchisee person Misbehaves. The delivery is delayed by more than two days no.

A consignment in the name of Mr.Mahesh Soni -Chhindwara had been sent on 29-11-14 bearing no: S40349981 has not been delivered still

On[protected] I had sent a parcel through DTDC courier and I was informed that parcel would be delivered the very next day. As per the e-tracker, the consignment was 'OUT FOR DELIVERY' at 12 noon on[protected].
But even today on[protected] the report remains same. And the parcel has not reached the party yet.
The party has threatened to sue me for the delay and the loss incurred due to it.
The local service provider at Hubli did not care to respond to my call.
The customer care service was not available either at Bangalore or at head office Delhi.
This is most frustrating experience.
If I am put to any hardship from the concerned party, the responsibility lies solely with DTDC.

Have booked a consignment vide c/n no H39002643 dt 12th Jan to Miyapur, Hyderabad.Have contacted the delivery branch at Bollaram, Miyapur . They said it is out for delivery on 14th, but till date it is not delivered and there is no proper response from the concerned branch.

I had sent one consignment on 22nd of Feb and was told that it will reach the destination(Bhopal) by 24th evening. Now, when I track online, it says destination as Ghaziabad and there is no update since 24th on the tracker. I have tried to contact the customer care as well but not getting any response. The consignment was urgent.

My consignment No. *Z50610796* haven't reached yet which was sent from delhi on 5th and today is 16th of march.
this is height o[censored]nprofessional behaviour by a reputed company like dtdc and telling lie to a customer...

I messaged and givenmail update also but didnt recieve any message or mail and now your customer care is saying that its returned to delhi,
Please return my consignment and if your company want to earn money by this means then its ok we give such money at temple also take extra and do your job professionally..

Dear Sir,
My docket no - F08863432 not delivered to me and returned to origin. I called on 19.03.15 at 16.43 hrs and the person assured me that he will deliver it to Gandhidham Branch but he has neither deliver it to me nor send to Gandhidham branch.

I booked a courior with dtdc on 5th of march from Ahmedabad. I was promised that it would reach me in batala punjab in 4 working days. Today is 31st march and consignment is still showing in transit.

I have recieved a very poor feedback from whom so ever i have called regarding the matter.

My consignment No X13082620 is showing IN TRANSIT since 24th April 2015 but till date its not delivered. Nobody at DTDC knows the status and giving response for the same. Multiple mails are sent to [protected]@dtdc.com but response is not received.

The Tracking details shows it reached Delhi Apex office on 29.05.15; but till date the consignment is not delivered to the concerned person or not contacted him(his name is Sagar)
We have tried to contact the local DTDC office from where the consignment has sent but they also couldn't contact the Delhi office.

Please let me know the status of the parcel. The parcel consists of few silk sarees which I'm returning to the Shop from where I bought.

Your immediate action on this will be greatly appreciated.
