[Resolved]  E Ticket — Refund of money against cancellation of train

Sir

I have booked a ticket(via SUVIDHAA service) PNR No.[protected], Transaction ID 98838932 from Jammu Tawi to Howrah by 2332/Himgiri Express on 25-May-2009. Due to RIOT in Punjab, 2332/Himgiri Express was cancelled. Hence I could not make the journey.

I was informed that I will be eligible for full refund as I had not made the journey. But I was not able to cancel the ticket from the railway counter over there as it was e-ticket .Again I was informed by suvidhaa that there is no need of cancellation of ticket as the train was cancelled by Indian Railway itself.

More than 6 months are over, I have still not received the refund.

Kindly confirm how to get the refund & look into the matter.

refund of ticket — full refund of money

Dear sir
I had booked the ticket by Rajdhani from TVM to NZD boarding at calicut .(train no 2431, PNR no [protected]) along with my familiy and i was to take my pet(dog) along with us.

we had asked the parcel staff a day before the travel about carrying the dog along with us, they told us enquire on 15th as they need to find if anybody else is carrying dog from TVM as we were boarding ftom Calicut.

at 3.00pm we called up the parcel office and they told us that nobody has booked the pet at TVM howver we need to confrim it from Ernakulam, trichur as their may be a possibilty of sombody carrying the pet can b e their .

We reached railway station at 1.00am on 16th and got our pet booked . after some time at 2.00 am parcel office staff told us that their is no dog box in the train and we can not carry the dog .

It took us by shock and surpurise as how can your people tell us in the day hours that TVM no pet is boarded and come out with different story latter on.

we were stuck and had to cancel our trip and ticket, 50% of the money was deducted Rs3975/- for NO FAULT OF OURS .

we were so distrusbed, were affarid the book the train on other day, (Their can be possibilty of same error with no poper comunication with in them).

We had to go by flight by paying 4times more money. Somuch for no fault of ours.

I hope you will understand the problem and the diificulty we went under . Iam only asking for the refund of 50% payment.

E Ticket — money not refunded of cancelled e ticket

I had booked a e ticket on 11-08-08 for the journey on 24-10-08 but as it was in waiting list till the chart made so the ticket got canceled but i didn't got the money back in my account kindly take neccesary action as its already too late and i am waiting for it.

individual — Refund of money for train cancelled ticket

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your kind attention that I had booked 2 E-Ticket through the website of IRCTC.
My E-Ticket details are:

Now due to heavy rains on that day the Trains were cancelled and I had to proceed with my journey with other mode of transport.

Had written a mail to IRCTC regarding this and also got a reply letter from them telling me that my money will be refunded back in 90 days. But till date no refund credited to me. Can anybody look into this matter, it is going to be 2 yrs now, I am being waiting for my refund . If any defaults from the consumers, the concern people will levy extra charges on the consumer, now can you explain will the railways give me the money plus the interest .

Hence I request you to do the needful at the earliest and reimburse me back my payment plus the interest.

I had reserved a e ticket from Rampur jn. to Asr jn on 18 jul 2009., but the train was late by 15hours from rampur and then i was trying to cancel my ticket, but the feedback from irtc was "the chart has been prepared".so i will be ver much thankfull to you if my ticket will be refund.

i have booked an e ticket from patna(junction) to howarh(junction) for 14th october 2009,for 1st two times after i gave my sbi debit card details the server was unavailable and the link is failed but 3rd time the transaction was successful,but for all the 3 times the money was deducted from my sbi account.pls do the needful.

E Ticket — Money deducted but no bookings done

I tried to book a ticket on 16th Oct,2009 from Bangalore City Jn to Mumbai CST. Bu th the transaction failed. I used my SBI debit card to do the transaction. But despite the transaction failing,a total of 383 has been debited from my account. Please look into the matter and credit the amount in my account.

Today (26/2/2010) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 2272 Dakshin Exp. from Hazart nizamuddin to Rajahmundry boarding on 04/04/2010 for Sri Ravindra kumar. Unfortunately after the payment was made through State Bank of india payment gateway, the error, REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankresponse.do?com.broadvision.session.new=Yes&" came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount(total payment 1858/-).

Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

I have cancelled one railway e-ticket(PNR NO.:-[protected]) on 29.03.2010 online,but i haven't got refund amount in my bank a/c so far. if any technical problem please intimate me through e-mail.
