[Resolved]  Election Commission Of India (West Bengal) — Non allotment of Voter Id Card

Sir,
After marriage my wife wants to change the address in her Voters I card. What is the necessary requirement to get a new I card in place of the previous one?

I am a resident of Barasat in the North 24 parganas in West Bengal and an employee of a private company. The date of polling in my constituency falls on 13.05.2009. I undersatnd that must be a holiday under the Negotiable Instrument Act.But my employer is insisting of attending office on that day otherwise the absence will be treated as leave. I want to get clarification and directive of the Election Commission Of India in this regard

I have applied for inclusion of my name in the voter list of Jadavpur Assembly constituency, part no 45. Mean while I have come to Know that my name is included as sl No N 1116 is it true?

One funny thing I would like to bring to your notice that I am an assistant teacher of Ahiritola Banga Bidyalaya, 80, B K Paul Avenue, Kolkata- 700005 till 1983. All of my collegues have been appointed as presiding officer but I am a 3rd polling officer. How it happened? My Headmaster has already lodged a complain. No reply yet came.

My name is BHASWAR CHAKRABARTI but the name has been printed as BHASKAR CHAKRABORTY. Please advise me how the error can be corrected. Left Front cadres found in Election Booths 26, 26A, 27, 27A under 24-Kolkata North Parliamentary Constituency in the guise of Polling Agents of Md. Selim, orally instructing the voters in 1st and 2nd Floors of Gouribari United Girls School (Polling Stn.) at 11A, Ratan Neogi Road, Kolkata-700004, by of telling them that ONLY No.1 switch is functioning, so Press Only No.1 Button to cast your vote. This highly illegal.

I Shreeja Chatterjee a resident of EE block of saltlake have several times tried and submitted all the documents reruired to get a votter id card but still now my name is not enlisted in the votterlist.

Spelling (in english) of name in EPIC is totally wrong.Ahasan is written as Aahasana, Mohammad is written as Mahammada. They have just one vowel in my name.
So I request to make a bilangual application form so that we can write our name ourselve.

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention regarding non receipt of my Voter ID card. My name has already appeared in electoral roll. My father visited your office (survey Building) twice before the Parliament election.
The attending officer did not hand over my I D Card to my father. They informed my father that the same will be sent by registered post to my residential address. But as of today I have not received my Voter ID card.
It is not possible for my father to pay visit your office further, at present bearing various physical ailments & he is not physically fit. Now, I am also totally engaged in my studies.
So, I will be grateful to you, if you kindly advice your department to send my voter ID card to my residential address.
