[Resolved]  Election Commission Of India (West Bengal) — Non allotment of Voter Id Card

I have applied twice for Voter I Card, last time infact veriifcation was also done but when the list for the photographs arrived there was not mentioned for me.I am frustrated on this laxity of the work, just do not know how to handle the situation.

Correct Spelling : Name: Subhas Ch. Bhuin
Father's : Dhirendra Nath Bhuin

Address: Utterderay Pur, Radhamohanpur, Sonamukhi, Bankura.

Please inform me how i will correct the mistake of my name & Address.This for your kind information necessary action please.

After searching the voter list in your Portal, I find my name (PARTHA CHAKRAVORTY s/o Heramba Kumar Chakravorty) & my wife's name (BITHIKA CHAKRAVORTY w/o PARTHA CHAKRAVORTY) in the Revised Voter List, of January, 2009. of RJARHAT(SC) constituency on PAGE 04, SL. NOS. 84 & 76.respectively of Part 22 of Poll centre "ANNADASUNDORI SCHOOL-Room no 2. But till date we do not have any ID Card.so far. In the list our House No is written as n0475 & n0476 respectively, I dont know what does it mean. However, our House No is BE-9, DESHBANDHU NAGAR (FLAT NO. 2C).

And there is a spelling mistake on my title. My title spelling is -MAIRA but in voter id it's MAIRA, please correct it.
And also I would like to inform you that our name is cut from the voter list.

Many people in our district doesn't know the procedure that how to issue the voter ID if they lost it, kindly suggest us sir, because we social workers want to solve this issue as easy way, we know it is not a complicated but some of the officials of Block level makes it complicated & makes people harress

I would like to inform you that I have lost my Voter Id Card on 13th July 2010 near Dhakuria when I was coming back home in the evening.I have only got the xerox of it . I am to inform you that yesterday the 23rd August 2010 I got one infrmation that our names will be deleted from list of the Paschim Midnapur Sonamukhi Mouja of Kharagpur Rural area . I was told that I am not staying there for than two months so pur names will be deleted.I am a retired person from IIT kharagpur, I have a house at the Prembazar Society, Kharagpur 721306, and I have a valid Voter ID which I collected from the SDO Kharagpur office after a fresh photograph was taken and embosed in the photo ID.Not only that We csted our vote in last Municipal Election ie in the month of May 2010.Now Idonot know why my name will be deleted from the voter list? This is very embarrasing that at the age of 65 I have to be declared as non resident of India.I was told that as I am not staying in the place for more than 2 months names will be deleted-this is very funny isi't it.CAN YOU DELETE MY NAME?
May I ask few question on this point?
Can you delete honerable MP Sri Probodh Ponda's name if he is in Delhi for more tha two month/ similarly can you delete Smt Sonia Ganghi's name from her constituency or Sri PryaRanjan Dasmunsi's name from his constituency as he is sick and admited in the hospital for more than a year or so.Then why our names will be delated?
I am 65 and after retirement we sometime go to our daughter 'place in Kolkata or Bangaluru, or for our medical treatment, We do stay in our home occationaly, it may not be possible for us to stay on the particular day when a representative of Election Commissioner will visit the place for formal enquery.Now we are in Bangaluru, it will be not possible for us to reach Kharagpur to face the Election Commissioner representative on 27.08.2010., insted of if we loose our Citigeship at this age we are helpless and can not take botheratin for further enrolement.SORRY
