Electricity Board — Regarding bribe
I Sunita Karn of Rahul Vihar-IInd, near pratap vihar L block, sector-12,Ghaziabad, alongwith my colony members facing the problem of power cut from a few days. We are using the electricity legally, but some of the people of our colony were using electricity illegally. Due to this the deppt. has cut the electricity for whole colony. When contacted to deppt. the officials asked for bribe of Rs.25,000 from the persons who were using the electricity illegally and a sum of Rs. 20,000 from the persons who already had electric meters.Some of the people of our colony paid bribe and the deppt. suuplied the electricity in their houses .But most of the people of our colony does not have so much money to paid as bribe so still we are facing the problem of power cut. yes, true worst consumer service is provided by muthialpet electricity board . no power returns once it goes night. sickest part of it is no proper answer is given when we call them. totally irresponsible. i think it should be taken to higher authorities if it is not properly dealt with.Being essential service they should act immedietly

Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that my meter was dead from August 2010, as informed by your employee and getting lump sum amount of bill, which was being paid by us. New meter has been installed on 7th of October 2011 on application request. When I went to submit the reading amount on 13th of Nov., 2011, had come to know about the new story that my old meter was not faulty and bill amount is Rs. 31000/- around, which is not justified (meter should not be removed if that was not faulty and after a month any story can be created). According to rule & revolution the average amount of earlier last reading amount and new meter reading amount will be calculated as advised by you people. So please provide the right calculated amount, which can be paid.
