ELECTROLUX KELVINATOR LTD Global Business Park, 3rd Floor, Mehrauli - Gurgaon Road, Gurgaon - 122 002 (Haryana) Fax :[protected]/98 M O S T U R G E N T Sub : Repair/Replacement of Refrigerator Electrolux Make Model No.285 ERP Double Door Dear Sir, This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux make (Model No.285 ERP) on 8th April’06 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd, 102, D.H. Road, Behala, Kolkata-700 034 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s. Millennium Service Centre (Authorized Service Centre of Electrolux Kelvinator), 17, Roy Bahadur Road, Kolkata-700 034. Recently, the machine has been given to M/s. Millennium on 5th March’08 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr. Amlan Ghosh[protected], Mr. Mallick[protected] & Mr. Niraj[protected] and nobody has given satisfactory reply. They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement from inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is totally non-conventional and the said proposal was rejected by undersigned. Meanwhile, I have been offered a proposal for replacement of ‘New Freeze’ by paying some extra money after deducting the depreciation amount (two years) from the purchase price of Rs.15, 000/- (April’06). I am not ready to pay the balance amount even as the machine is a defective one from the day. So, kindly intervene and give your valuable advice immediately to your Kolkata office. Moreover, I am in terrible situation as my daughter is appearing to ICSE Exam and I am passing on the Summer days without refrigerator. Look forward to receiving your valuable reply at the earliest. Electrolux Kelvinator Ac — No Service , presenting Bill
Dear Sir, I am from Nagercoil (Kanyakumari District). I bought an Electrolux AC mahine from SMART REFRIGERATION AND ENGINERING SERVICES, Nagercoil on 282/2009. The machine is not working before five months. I called the dealer to lookup the machine, they come and see the machine and they took the machine to their shop and phoned to me as the compressor failed and i said to replace the compressor. they asked the warranty card, but they didnt give the warranty card but they write the warranty in the bill. Hence i told, you not give the warranty card you only write it in the bill about the warranty. but they refused to my voice. I tell this matter for nearly 4.5 months they didnt take any action. so i planned to go to the customer court and inform about this matter. or take neccessary steps to solve this matter. Kelvinator/195FF — Refrigerator not working
Hi, this is pradeep, Iam having a refrigerator of 195FF bought in 2002. Since 1 month my fridge stopped cooling and i booked a complaint with number HYD[protected], mobile no. [protected] on[protected]. On 13th one guy attended the complaint and checked thoroughly and identified the problem and said the problem is with timer and said another person will attend. After 2 days another person came and he removed the faulty timer and i dont know whether he repalced with new one or not, but he has not given the old one, and said that there is no gas in the compressor itseems, another person will attend and went off with 250=00. Since then no person attended. Today morning also i gave the complaint again, no person attended. Please send correct person to get repair the fridge, which is now fully stopped working. I need a service from u, can u make some other know techie to attend it and get repaired permanently. Kindly do the needful, for which act of kindness I shall be ever thankful. I am not sure about the services of Electrolux, but what emphatically I can add is that their products over all of fairely poor quality.
The remote control of my A/C has been functioning whimsically since 1st year of purchase and now when I want to buy the new remote an astronomical sum of rupees 1000 is being charged just for a remote control.
Service center facility has been outsourced, servicing facility has been out sourced, so all in all I wonder what exactly Electrolux does/

A Electrolux Refrigerator Model No. 020 Luxury N - Blue S. No. 70916122 — problem of cooling
Sir/MadamI have purchased a Electrolux Refrgerator Model No. 020 luxury N-Blue S.No. 70916122 dated on 15-04-08 from Climate Control Bank Road, Gorakhpur. There is recurring problem of cooling in the refrigiration. I complained at above mentioned office but mechanic told me that u have to spend 1200/- for filling gas but my refrigerator's compressor is under 4 year warranty.
So i request you please look into the matter and solve it as early as possible. Till my warranty period of compressor is not expire.

Electrolux 205 Liters Refrigerator — refuse for repair within warranty period
sir,I had purchased a 205liters double door refregator( forst free) from VALTAR Electronics pvt.ltd, P-193,C.I.T.Scheme VII M, Calcutta-700067, vide cash memo no-1545 dated[protected] but at[protected] it was not working and informed to nearest servicing centre at MONDAL REFRIGERATOR CO. 87/10, AKSHOY KR. MUKHERJEE ROAD, CALCUTTAA-700090.An expert came and inspected and next day another expert changed the timer with Rs.855 /-vide cash memo no-1153 dated[protected].But unfortunately the refrigerator not working on[protected] and informed the same servicing center and expert came and change the Relaywith Rs.348/- and servicing cgarge with Rs.225/-On[protected] the refrigerator was not working and the expertcame from the same servicing center and inspected and then told compressor had been no sound so it is changed. The compressorchanged with rs.4400/- at 06072009 vide cash memo no 3469, because of some financial problem.On[protected] the same refrigerator is not working and then I informed the same servicing center, they told we are not servicing at this area but warranty period not expired.
please solve my problem with kind hearted and taken necessary action
for your kind consideration.

I am stationed in BTM Layout Bangalore. I had purchased one 230 liters Kelvinator Electrolux refregirator from Udupi (Karnataka). Now there is a crack on the top of the fridge, as a result of which the fitting to its door has loosened.The Cooling /performance is good. I fear the door may fall down one day and have been contacting each and every dealer/authorised repairer to arrange for a spare top portion of the same. But every repairer is telling that the spare part is not available.
Can any one tell me where the spare part( Top plake) of Electrolux of Kelvinator Refregirator is available for sale?

I have booked complaints many times for not working of our Refrigerator to the toll no. [protected] and got the complaint Nos. too. This is the maximum one can do for Servicing Electrolux Kelvinator Refrigirator. M/s Golden Electronics, Walltax Road((near Bharath Theater) is the only authorised service agent in Chennai for Electrolux Kelvinator who is also a authorised service agent for other brands of Refrigerator also. It is very difficult to contact Golden Electronics and you will never attend your complaints. So I have decided not to buy Electrolux Products in future. The only agency benefits from Electrolux is Telephone/Mobile Service Providers. If I have time I will sue Electrolux and Golden Electornics.S. Kannan
