The Officer Incharge Dated: 11.11.2009 EME Records Office Indian Army Secunderabad (AP) Sub: Grant of increase in monthly pension as per the orders of Government in respect of pensioners above the age of 80 years. Sir, I, Ex-Naik 7002130 Bahal Singh S/O Sh.Hem Raj retired from Indian Army (59 Mountain Brigade-URO) on 14.11.1968 after serving 20 years on fulfil the condition, photocopy of the Certificate of Service is enclosed. Now, I am drawing the monthly pension (H.O.2743) from Punjab National Bank, Pandoga, Distt. Una, HP eversince my retirement in account No.173300 [protected]. I was enrolled in the Service on 22.3.1948 and retired on 14.11.1968 and at the time of my retirement, my age was 44 years. Thus, I have already crossed the age of 84 years as I was born on 22.3.1925, but there is no other record available with me to show my age. The only source regarding proof of my age is the record available in your office. Now the Government has granted increase in the pension of the aged beneficiaries of Defence pensions as per the criteria that percentage increase will be given on the monthly pension on attaining the age of 80 years and further percentage increase on attaining the age of 85 years. I am entitled for the increase from the date of attaining the age of 80 years i.e. in the year 2005. Kindly confirm my age to Pension Sanctioning Authority Allahabad to grant increase in my monthly pension according to age and advise the DPDO, UNA, Himachal Pradesh for the needful retrospectively in accordance with the Government orders issued in the year 2008. I had also given my request to the DPDO Una but the needful is still awaited please. AN EARLY ACTION IS REQUESTED PLEASE. I Get 20% Disabality (bonsal asthama) pension my p.p.o. no corr s/223706/2009 dt 06 /01 /2010 I Have no any benifit of A.C.P. 1. I, JC-753736A SM & Hony Capt(Retired) Teeka Ram have discharged from service on 31 Jan 2012. It is intimated that the amount of gratuity, commutation and pension wef 01 Feb 2012 have not been credited so far in my S/B Account No [protected], SBI-Kotdwar, Distt-Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
2. A copy of my PPO No S/053042/2011 dt 24 Jan 2012 received by me during my discharge drill on 31 Jan 2011.Original copy of PPO along with Descriptive Roll and Acknowledgement Slip have not yet received by the bank.I use to visit SBI Kotdwar branch regularly and discussed number of times with the manager. I, also discussed this matter with SBI, CPPC Chandni Chowk, Delhi on telephone but the reply was the same that your PPO has not yet received.
3. Five months have been already passed and I, could not get my dues so far.I am facing financial hardship and loss also.
4. In view of the above you are requested to do the needful at the earliest please.
