We have purchased Exide Tubular Battery from Sony Battery Centre Mihijam, Dist- Jamatar, Jharkhand. Prop. - Md. Rashid. 12 Months ago from the date of Purchase we are not getting any clear service from our MerchantFrom Very Beginning the Battery gets wet upside and continuous liquid coming out of the Battery on any querry Our Merchant says " YE THIK HAI SABKA AISA HI HOTA AHAI" But we have not seen any such thing anywhere.

Sir/ Madam Plz do take necessary action to replace the battery asap.

Please note, we have purchased a battery of Exide . But, I have been facing problem with battery for long than 6 months with intimation to your distributor . Regarding to same, I want you to know that your distributor is not taking interest, he is only procrastinating the matter .

However, to amend problem, I have send my battery to to your regional office, and in response, they send back battery with ok remark of challan . But for surprise, still, we are facing same problem as earlier . When, we made contact to your service Engineer regarding this matter, he told to me to contact after 5 days with rude tone .

Moreover, If you need, we can fax copy of delivery challan for your reference . Please take necessary action and suggest me what to do .

Please reply, your early response will be highly appreciated .

Exide Battery — NOT CHARGING

I have purched a 12V Battery from M/s Auto Battery centre, R.C.Marg, Chembur, Mumbai-74 Phone no 25530730 during 2007for my Accent car and the deails are follows:
a. mfg code : 4H4, TYPE
b. Type : 5B24LMF
c. Sr.No : 0003689

I was regularly maintaing with M/s Auto Battery centre, Chembur because this service centre is very near to house ( My residence is BPCL Colony, Aziz Baug, Chembur).

Last week, I had a problem on starting initialy and after that the car was started and went from house to M/s Auto Battery centre ( 3 km) to check condition. They informed me that they will keep for recharging and they demanded if you have warrnty card. I had warrenty card issued by them which I have shown to them. The card was given to me by them was not filled properly i.e Dealer code, date of sale etc. But now they were asking me why the dealer name was not filled. This mistake by them when they were selling to me. Only my mistake that during purchese, I didnot notice.
I honestly declaring that exept this service centre, no where else I have gone for buying battery. At present I donot have bill also. Please do needful on my proble.

Exide Battery — not getting proper backup

i have bought a battery and a inverter but i am not getting proper back up as well as some liquid also flows from it and the shop from which i had bought it is also been closed .the battery and inverter are only 9 months old they are still in warranty period i had complained for it but no one responded to it.

i am the cv dealer of your exide.i took dealership in last 2 months and your company excutive is say anything and do anything.but we can't do anything because our money is deposite in your company.so i am very un setisfied with your system in gurgaon.

Electra Sales Corporation — Refusal of responsibility for service.

This company is authorised dealer in Hauz Khas for exide batteries. I bought an new EXIDE battery from him on 11/07/09 at 5:00 pm. The technician delivered the battery at home. Once it was installed the car did not start up easyly also the other equipment did not work. On asking the technician he claimed the brand new battery does not have initial charge and will work properly once the car is in running mode.
I said fine and on 12/07/09 that is exactly the next morning(today) i had to jump start the car and even after running 50 kms the battery did not work.

I called the dealer and told him that the brand new battery is not working. He says it is not his responsibility and i should call the exide service centre as the battery will have to claim warranty process.

The cheat denys to send anyone to even check the battery and say he is not responsible for the functioning of the battery.

This is a case of selling spurious goods and expecting the exide company to give an exchnge to save his own skin.

What should i do. I have called the exide as well and im waiting for their response.

I have purchased a battery no.4F826755 on 26/07/2008 from BHARAT MOTOR STORE, GORAKHPUR.
I am not getting proper backup since February 2009, I visited the service centre in the month of Feb'09 and they took servicing charge and checked the battery and they said that this is okay.but backup problem is same.Again I have given the battery for testing to the service centre on 15/07/2009.After 12 days they replied that backup is not proper.Now they are saying that your battery is sent for replacement .Due to battery backup problem I am suffering from feb'09.Your service center is not concern about the problem, they told on 03/08/2009 that the replacement process takes time.
Sir, How much time you take to solve the problem.Please look in the matter.

Exide — IT550 battery not working properly

I purchased Exide IT550 15 days back. It is giving only 2 to 2 1/2 hrs backup on 1 fan running only. Request you to take necessary action for the same.

Hi,

I am Rajesh. I recently purchased 100Ah battery for my UPS.I don't know anything about batteries and its usuage. I would like to get some information on its usuage and maintenance.

1. Should the battery be connected to the UPS all the time (24/7) or can it be disconnected when not in use. (How is this related to the longevity of the battery)
2. For how much time should the battery be charged to give maximum output.
3. Should we change any fluid or liquid that is used in the battery and if so how frequently should we do so.
4. Please also tell me any other tips regarding the maintenance of the battery and how to increase its longevity.

Any information for my queries would be of great help to me.
