[Resolved]  Exide Battery — Battery problem

i have purchased a car from Shri Devang Taktawala, residing at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In the said car exide battery no. 2I8 330576 was installed. there is another no. 2I8W[protected] the date of manufacturing is 24.09.2008 it is for OCV 12.60V. the bill and warrantee card is misplaced by them. they have no records and they have no information from which shop/distributor have purchased from Ahmedabad, Gujarat the battery is not functioning well i am facing trouble every day. i have to recharge the same every week. kindly check your records and kindly tell me the address, phone number of the shop/distributor and other related details so i can contact them and get duplicate bill and warrantee card. my email id is amrish.[protected]@gmail.com and phone no. is [protected]. kindly do the needful in the matter as early as possible.

Exide Battery — FRAUD BILLING

I had purchsed Exide Battery MHD 800 through Jasbir Battery, South Patel Nagar on 6.12.2010 for my SAFARI Dicor. After 2 months I was facing starting problem, one day battery dead, I called Excide, they came and check the battery and confirm that Bill shows MHD800 but battery fitted in the car MHD700 is under rating battery for Safari Dicor. I had contacted Jasbir Battery they confirmed that battery is correct and they recharged it.

They also demanded for difference of MHD700 & MHD 800 rate if I want replacement for the same. I am surprised to know why I pay the same as I had already paid for MHD800.

THE BATTERY IS DISCHARGED AND AS SUCH THE CAR IS BEING STARTED. THE MECHANIC HAS SAID THAT THE BATTERY IS DISCHARGED. I HAVE INFORMED THE MATTER YESTERDAY AT PH NO[protected] AND A LADY HAS RESPONDED AND SAID TO TAKE THAT BATTERY TO YOUR SHOP AT 75 Ft ROAD, VISAKHAPATNAM FOR SERVICING/ REPLACEMENT AS THE BATTERY IS IN WARRANTY PERIOD( REF:BILL NO 0002654 DT 01.08.2009).

ON THAT DAY OF PURCHASE THE SALES TEAM FROM YOUR OFFICE HAVE COME TO MY RESIDENCE AT VIZIANAGARAM AND HAVE FITTED THE BATTERY TO MY CAR. THE BATTERY IS WORKING WELL AND HAS NOT GIVEN ANY TROUBLE TILL NOW FOR WHICH I AM VERY MUCH THANKFUL TO YOU.

I have purchase an excide battery for my Royal enfield standard 350 cc from Assam Battery house, Wallford, G S Road, Guwahati - 781005. My battery is decharge quickly after using, but when i had go to the delar the told me that this problem is due to some mechanical problem in my bike, They ignore me then I went to a expert mechanic. but the mechanic told me that there is no any problem in my bike. It is battery problem.

I have purchased a Exide Invertar plus battery but battery back up is very poor. I complen to delar but not any action is taken.

Inva Queen 500 + battery is good & giving satisfactory services> In exception cases, it is giving troubles. he

I have purchased IT 500 EXIDE Invatubler Battery on 9 june 2009, its backup goes down to 5 minutes, i have complaint regarding this to the dealer but after servicing battery condition remains same dealer has charged 200 for that, i have regularly complaint regarding the problem to the dealer after battery came from servicing but no responce were given by him as a result Battery bursted out on 22 of this month and still dealer is not ready to concider the problem as the battery is under warranty till 2012
please look in the matter and arrange replacement of the battery.I need your responce at [protected]@gmail.com

sunny mobile ulhasnagar-1 — Cheating

Its seems to be small issue but raises a huge question on quality of products sold in market (and because of which consumer's are becoming fool without having any other option).

Last sunday i purchased a earphone from this recognized shop (Sunny Mobile UNR near gol maidan), thinking it would be of better quality then what is sold by roadside hawkers. But i was surprise when in first use only it broked (wire from earphone came out), i went back to the shop to complain but he said "ye sab china ka maal hai no replcement, no paisa wapas" i just became a fool, bec at the time of purchase he was saying ki ye sony ka hai and charged me heavily, but when i saw it, it was mentioned "made in china", Request to take action on such shop owners who are fooling consumers by charging heavy money by giving false information and then ignoring customer once things are sold. Thanks!!!!

That I have purchase the battery for my Pulsar motocyclde 0n 27/11/10 at Chandigarh & they have given me the Warranty card for 1 year,
That i am presently resident at Banga, Nawanshahr.That from last one month my battery was not warking properly.That why i take my bike to tour Dealear in Banga (ANKIT AUTO SPARE PARTS) Who is a dealear of Exide battary, but he refuse to take the battery and use so much foul language and also say that I already have 70/80 battary of Exide with me in my shop and the dealing of the Exide company is very bad also when i told him that I will complaint against u to the Exide Batteries.The words he used That I cannot able to write in this Email.

Is this type of Dealers u take for the sale o[censored]r product...

If the same type of the behavour u give to your clients then no one will like to purchase the Exide Batteries.

I have 4 vechiles on my name and in every vechile I have the battery of Exide, But now I will never take Exide battery & also sujesh every 1 not to take the same.

ANKIT AUTO SPARE PARTS ur dealers says that even the owner of the Exide battery canot do any thing against me, even any 1 do the complaint against him

Lets see what action u take against that person, another wise I will publish every thing in the Newspapers regarding the service given to the clients..when to sold there product and after that no action is taken on it...

It is intemented that i Syed noorul hasan from varanasi have purchased an exide tubler battery IT 500
invoice no508 on 9/6/2009 from Matri shree Powerelectronic pvt. ltd nadesar varanasi with an warranty of 36 months when i have informed regarding the problem to the dealer he hase told me that it is an issue of full discharged & battery need to be recharged & after recharging they returned it to me, but the problem continues & regularly complaining they have not responded to me as a result the battery bursted ot on "20th of april" when i have told them regarding it they where not ready to accept the claim for the new battery. when i have registered the complain through custemer care i got the information that the problem hase bean attended on "16th april". how is it posssible that the accident took place on "20th april" can be attended on "16th april".
Therefore you are requested to take necessary actionand direct to dealer for replace of battery at the earliest. to avoid further legal correspondence.

i have purchase a it-550 tubelar battery. but it becomes low backup battery. several times i complint to dealers but no response. now what can i do?

I purchase an exide battery from local dealer for inverter. but battery is damege under warranty period.his engeenier give remark that this happen due to over chargeing from deffective inverter.in this case how can i get relief from consumer foroum?

This is to inform you that i an from Delhi and i had purchased an Exide Battery (Automotive) from Kapson Enterprises, 1A- DDA Janta Flats, Pitampura village Delhi-110034 on 5-4-2010. This battery model no. 38B20R had a 18months warranty. The battery stopped working on 16th of August 2011. The nos. provided on service booklet for Jaipur city were all incorrect. I had a huge problem and finally resorted to buy a new battery. Later i gave the battery for replacement to the dealer who sent it to Exide service center in Wazirpur Industrial Area on 25th Aug after finding out that cell no.2 is not working and therefore it cant start the car. Today on 22 oct Mr. Ajit ([protected]) is telling me that the battery is all right and is sending it back. When i asked him whether he has checked it with any car he denied doing so and refused to replace the battery because it had idling problem. I told him that I can prove that it was not idle and i will take him to court for which he said that i can do so. (I have the recorded conversation as proof). This is to inform you about the incident and if i do not get any replacement in one week i will do the same.
