Dear Mr. Vineet Mahajan,

As promised, as soon as I parked my car I had called you at 10.09 Hrs before you generated this mail below which was at 10.17 Hrs. I am sure you would agree on this.

Mr. Atul of Autolinks had explained to you the entire work done on your vehicle while delivering it to you. In case there is some noise still persistent we shall have a trial on you car jointly again and try our best to ensure that the abnormal noise, if any, can be eliminated. Kindly let us know as to when we can have a joint trial to ascertain the vehicle noise you are talking about.

Please be assured that the vehicle has no technical flaw as written by you in your mail. We had checked the vehicle and also test driven the same along with you in our last meeting at your office along with our Mr. R K Saxena. We assure you once again that the vehicle would be restored to the company standards if some shortcomings are found during the join trial.

Dear Jameel,

Tried calling you on phone at 0930 hrs, but I understand that you were

driving. I am still waiting for the 5 minute call back from you.

1. The noises in the vehicle continue and have even aggravated further -

doors have started rattling again and so is the noise from the boot. Seems

to be no improvement at all.

2. The vehicle is bent towards the right hand side - I had mentioned the

same to Atul (GM - Auto links), but his response was - this is a technical

flaw and cannot be repaired.

If there is a technical flaw with the vehicle, I see no reason why it should

not be recalled, rather than mushrooming more and more unsatisfied

customers. Why are the false promises being made again and again, when there

is no resolution. I want to drive a passenger vehicle and not a noisy

Tractor.

I had mentioned in our personal meeting on 18th Dec'07, with Mr Rakesh

Saxena and yourself that I need a complete noise free vehicle and not a make

shift work being done with a temporary job. I was even assured that the

vehicle will be first inspected by Tata Motors and then only sent back to

me. Every time the vehicle has gone and returned back from the workshop, it

has come back un-inspected. There seems to be a complete lag between

commitment and delivery.

While making a choice of vehicle, I was informed by my friends that the post

sale service of Tata Motors is extremely poor and one should opt for

Mahindra Scorpio, which is a far better vehicle. Now I completely regret not

listening to them.

This is my first experience with a Tata vehicle and needless to say - it has

been extremely unpleasant.

This game of pingpong has been going on from the last one month (actually

from the date of purchase), without conclusion.

In the last three and a half months, the vehicle has visited the Tata

authorised workshop 7 times, with a total of approximate 12 day spent at the

workshop itself.

I rest this case with Mr Tata for conclusion.

Best regards,

Vineet Mahajan

Gentlemen,

First of all, the vehicle was not sent to Sanya Motors - there seems to be

some confusion here.

I have received back the vehicle and had inspected the same also.

A few things:

1. Car Headlights alignment : still not aligned. Both still go on a

different tangent.

2. Scratches on bonnet : Atul (GM Works) has already tried, but they cannot

be eliminated by just rubbing or buffing. Clear coat is also not a solution.

The scratches are extremely prominent and not acceptable to me.

Jameel : As discussed the other day, I am still waiting for the guarantee

cards and the Registration papers from Sanya Motors. Can you please check on

the same and revert at the earliest.

Dear Mr. Vineet Mahajan,

Greetings

Please refer our telephonic discussion of this morning. You were contacted

by our Mr. Vaibhav Khanna on 14th Dec 2007 and he had briefed me about the

discussion. You were also expecting a call from Karunbut he was on leave

for some personal reasons. At the outset inconvenience caused to you at one

of our dealership is deeply regretted. In the meantime I am arranging for

the inspection of the vehicle at your office today itself. The workshop

manager from Sanya would be coming to your office and I will myself come

there to check the car. I shall call you again within an hour or so. I am

sure we would resolve all your concerns.

Dear Mr Kant,

I am highly dissatisfied with the service and work quality at M/s Sanya

Motors and post having a discussion with their customer service and works

manager today, I get a feeling of a complete MR TEMPORARY FIXIT arrangement

only - This is completely unacceptable to me. Despite sending my Tata

Safari twice to their workshop, nothing seems to be working. First time is

ignorance, but the second time is a complete case of negligence.

The brand "Tata" carries a legend and till date was a symbol of trust to

me...this seem to be getting completely marred.

I would request your intervention here.

TATA Motors safari VX — product & service

i purchased tata safari VX in jan 2010 from balaji motors in thane. The day when i took delivery of the car, i found that the finishing of car is not proper, plastic material of desh board came out on the same day in front of his executive , radio is not working, back door(5th) is touching the bumper, seat cover finishing is not proper. they also promise me to provide front guard and insidemate, which they faid to provide me yet. Nor do they provide me proper service
This is not really a complaint! In fact, this is an appreciation of my car, a Safari, 2001 model that I have been meaning to write to you about, for a while now. I have driven this car from Bangalore to Nepal[protected] via Vizag, Kolkata, Birganj and back via Nainital, Shimla, Manali, Pathankot, Amritsar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Daman, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Goa. Not one problem, not even a hitch... Engine, tyres, body...nothing absolutely. The entire trip is documented via hundreds of photographs.
Of course, these many years later, the car has developed certain problems, and needs attention, especially, with the body and electricals, besides other smaller issues. The garages have been helpful, but not quite equipped to handle it all, in spite of a lot of money, that’s been spent.
The car is very close to my heart and I do not intend to sell it, because of the emotional values that it holds to me.
This, besides being a fantastic marketing opportunity (I would love to testify for its flawless performance) for Tata Motors, is also an exemplary customer satisfaction report that can be a motivational source, internally, for the company. I have not much idea, where else I could put up this comment of mine; so chose this slot. Hope, it's seen, acknowledged, and due assistance provided to me, in restoring this unique vehicle, to its former glory. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, A. Biswas a.k.a. Deep Biswas
I purchased one Tata Safari Vx bearing Engine No. 2.2LDICOR061ZYJ11180 Chassis No. MAT403745ANF06480 on dated 27/10/2010. The vehicle had run for about 900 kms only. and its engine failed. Vehicle has been sent to the selling dealer M/s Marudhara Motors, Jodhpur. However I lost Confidence in the vehicle and the brand and have no desire to keep the vehicle, I informed the dealership accordingly, They refused to take back the vehicle without company's concent on the matter. I request tata to kindly instruct delar to keep the vehicle and refund the money but Tata Moters dosen't have any proper customer support and don't have will to resolve this matter even delar is ready to refund so now i am going to consumer court overall Tata Safari and Tata Brand is wasted brand in india don't buy any Tata Products otherwise you will face same problem...
