[Resolved] Faber Cooktop — the top broke in 2 months | |||
WE PURCHASED ONE 3 BURNER TOP FROM FABER JUST TWO MONTHS BACK.THE MODEL HAS A BLACK TOP. ATTRACTED BY THE APPEARANCE WE BOUGHT IT AND ALSO FOR THE BRAND. TWO DAYS BACK WHILE COOKING WAS ON THE ENTIRE TOP BROKE AND ALL GLASS PEICES WENT OFF THROUGH THE KITCHEN AND DINING. FORTUNATELY MY WIFE WAS JUST FIVE FEET AWAY OR OTHERWISE SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INJURED. WHEN THE MATTER WAS REPORTED WE ARE TOLD THAT DUE TO HIGH HEAT THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED. CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE STOVE IS USED ONLY FOR HEATING AND THAT BEING THE CASE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FOR THAT PURPOSE. I AM YET TO GET ANY RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY.
